Main reason why i dont play stakes 5x times in difference.

I mean, this pattern must happen multiple times a week, if not daily? It's not like a 20bb should normally ever register on the radar, right?

This guy right http://www.**********************/st...h/patrikskjold. meh, fair point as it happens I didn't check him on ptr when he sat in but he didn't seem that great, left me after losing 200. 15-30 I would have checked and prob sat out. I do indeed have a bit of a prob with leaving when I'm down vs someone beating me but I'm working on it. And I never play any HU reg marked as good. And I'm def playing my hit n running friend at 15-30 whenever he wants.
Variance wise I'm not really fussed, I don't rely on a steady poker income or anything, just showing an extreme example of what spanning 5 stakes can expose one to. Ideally if I could play 8-16 - 15-30 all day I would but in these times any contribution is appreciated. Hood no it doesn't happen v often actually, and as I'm sure anyone appreciates 22BB in 9 hands at your highest stakes where you might not see any more for days just makes it (short term) frustrating. I think one of the top guys here was saying he's given up 50-100+ as it does just become gambling, but as JR responded if you're rolled and have an edge why not?
O and how do you know my name

I think we are in agreement. Like I said, "this is why i don't span so many stakes" because otherwise this stuff shouldn't tilt you. It's only it's your "highest stake" where you might be waiting for days for more action doesn't it become tilting.

Agree in 9 hands that pretty nasty but pretty standard in 30-40 hand match.

Sorry about the name if it bothers you, I won't do it again, I just prefer to call people by their real names if I happen to know them (we emailed about rakeback, remember?).

Re: HUHU NC/LC Thread for March

Now there is more action at 100/200 HU at FT than at all the lower stakes, go figure.

I'd say I dig the new site, too, but I can't get away from the NSFW links long enough to check it out.

LOL, I hear ya. I don't know for certain what the plans are going to be longterm but I am leaning towards training videos geared for low limits and I am putting in a stars reg forum tomorrow for the stars peeps.

it is def a reg but the sn is terrible, why would you want to expose yourself to other regs, the reason he didnt play me is cause my sn is a well known HU sn CAUSE I DONT WANT action from the regs and it works well. I am back here full time

Re: HUHU NC/LC Thread for March

I know I have well-documented tilt problems, but regardless Chung ho really is the worst kind of person and he makes huhu players look terrible. I know you read these forums, buddy, so:

**** you, you ****ing ******* piece of ****. I hate you more than I hate anybody else in the world. No exaggeration. I hate you far more than I hate Osama bin Laden or the guy that cut me off in traffic today. I've never been in a fight and I hate internet tough guy stuff (honestly), but I swear to ****ing god if we meet I will do my best to punch you repeatedly in your ****ing face. You make St1ckman look like ****ing Mother Teresa, *******. Bring your ****ing Asian nerd-army if you want.

I've made like 4 posts in the huhu forum and 3 of them have been like this. I apologize to people who understandably don't want to read stuff like this here, but I just can't take it.

And yeah I'd hate him just as much if I was up 50k on him instead of down.

The bumhunting stuff isn't that big of a deal to me these days. I mean, it seems to be working for him and everybody does it. Whatever. It's a number of other things.

Also, after a few minutes of research and deduction I think I know who chung is on ftp, could be wrong, but if it's who I think, I'm right that he reads (and posts on) 2+2.

OK, I assumed he had run hot against you and then refused to play you anymore, or something like that.

Re: HUHU NC/LC Thread for March

basic noob questions:

any difference between 2/4 and 3/6. do you still find enough fish at 3/6?

and btw, is it me or is ftp really tougher than PS?

I don't play as many hands as others in this forum, but that has also been my experience so far (FT being tougher). I guess it's because of the rakeback, because if you mostly play HU it's hard to get a high VIP level in Stars.

Re: HUHU NC/LC Thread for March

Strangely I feel a lot more comfartable in general playing at Stars, going for the river bluff raises and suchlike where I might not on ftp. But I seem to have similar winrates on both so I dunno.
Shameless plug; friend's business could use some publicity if you've any musician/arty friends.. http://www.inkyhollow.co.uk/home

if you were going to play ftp you get 27 percent regardless of how much u play. If you play pretty good volume at stars you can get a little more but if you don't buy the correct bonuses (supernova) you will get less than the 27 percent.

The only thing that would make stars "easier" is you potentially get more action cause there is 300k plus players EVERY day
