It's not questionable. It's inexcusable. I mean I have to admit that a few times I have tilt chatted and been rude to a fish, which is bad enough. But telling a fish where to find information on how bad he is playing is a whole different level of terrible.
03-22-2010 , 09:30 PM
YOu got it too, mj.

I guess the only comfort i can find in all this that there were no "few times" for me.
First one and the last one too.

let's hope the fish is lazy enough to don't google his name and tell all his friends about those sites
03-22-2010 , 09:36 PM
yea i think that's the main thing, to each their own berating, they will prob just not want to play u anymore, talk as much **** as u want, to tell them how to get better or where to find info is the main issue

I agree that the chat tilt is not good. But with all the info available about poker (whether taken seriously, or as serious hobby, for guys like me), something tells me this guy doesn't care.
Even if that's not the case, if you thought there was a chance he might look up his nickname, why would you repeat it here?

Some personal/creepy stuff I'd prefer not to talk about right now. I obviously overreacted but the feelings are still there, and he's still never getting a hu game on Stars any time I'm on.

If you're looking to plug your leaks Copoka, there's a MAJOR one right there.

And don't pretend this was the first time either. I've railed you very little, but seen you do this several times before.

Ever play a 90 hand session vs a villain without a check, call or fold button?

AND LOSE 35BB!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yea, it kind of sucks. But seriously, he didn't do anything but bet or raise all streets every single hand.

annnnnnnnnnd he quit

and the big wtf is the guy is only down 500 bucks in 7k hands, and if you google his name, all that comes up is probably what he named himself after

Lol, I have been sitting with some guys at micro HU NL tables just for fun and there are lots of hit and runners who quit when they are up $1 or something, I don't get it.

That might be the difference in them getting a buyin to a certain tourney but sometimes I don't get it either, I have guys come to my 3-6 tables and raise one button and leave with the 3 they win or the 6 or whatever. My buddy used to hit and run people all the time and most of the time it was to get enough to buy in to a tourney he didnt have enough for

HU PLO has to be the most tilting game ever. I manage to get my whole stack on the flop with the nuts against trash and then runner runner surprise.

It makes sense, I don't think they are thrilled at cashing out $3. So HU is like a casino side game to enter the tourneys. Let's hope they win a lot and decide to invest it at the limit tables :-)

For a couple days now, I've been resisting the temptation to buy the new PLO book that's advertised here. (Normally I'd just go ahead and buy a 2+2 book if I wanted it, but since they published DUCY, I'm a little reluctant.) Anyone here taken the bait?

Yeah I saw that before I posted it and decided I was too lazy and it wasn't worth the effort.

how many of the regs here find sonia hard...? Could she compete with 50-100 and + winning though reg?

i think that's the worst down swong graph i've ever seen posted here. altho it's filtered to your lowest stake so not sure it counts

Yeah but I still think it's pretty sick how one can run at -10 BB/100 in any 5k sample. Not that I'm really complaining, I am 99% certain I have run hotter than the sun for my entire heads up career, so it will still take a whole lot more run bad before I am back to even.

Defend J 6

Checkcall 7 K 5
checkcall Q
checkraise bluff 9 river

Saw a known winning 10/20 reg take this line. Can anyone defend this? Appears to be a clear misplay on every street regardless of opponent read.
03-24-2010 , 01:22 PM
Raise 6 7 on button
checkback 2 3 2 flop
call lead on A
raise A river
