We will be > 1/2 the restaurant. My recommendation would be to find the people (a) with Gobbo, (b) at the big table, or (c) who look like 2p2ers. Any of those should work.

The first LVL food meetup was a rousing success! 10 people, was great to meet everyone. And it wasn't an actual sausagefest like most 2p2 get-togethers. Here's a few photos of the food we enjoyed.

Tom Kha Kai soup

Spicy herb spring rolls.

Moo Khum Waan (pork tenderloin with mint garlic sauce)

Pad Kra Pow with crispy pork (thai basil sauce and super crispy fried pork belly)

I think it has been decided that next week's restaurant of choice will be Musashi Japanese Steakhouse.

Musashi has long been one of my favorite places in town. It's a teppanyaki restaurant, like Benihana but way way better. Tiger, the head chef and owner, is the best teppanyaki chef in the world and trains all the 2nd best ones. This place has a ton of big bold flavors and countless delicious sauces. Unbuckle your belt for this one.

Average price: $50-60 after tax/tip for teppanyaki choices. They have sushi too.

The food meetup was great, gobbo is the man with the menu mastery. Gobbo just ordered a bunch of the best stuff to go around, at first only having small bits of things I was like ooo crap I'm not gonna get full and I'm gonna have to grab a bowl of pho or something on my way out of here...but the food kept on coming which was good because got to sample a lot of things and still ended up stuffed full +every single thing I tried was good. Looking forward to the next meet.

Hey. Just found this thread. I've been spending a bit of time in Vegas. I would love to meet up and get some good grub. I'll be back the week of October 24-31 for the Life is Beautiful concert and also the Pokers. I'll check back before i come out.
