Hey all! Due to interest from a few parties I've decided to make this thread. There are tons of 2p2ers who live in Vegas, and if you ever need a buddy to go get a random meal or want to check out that place someone's been talking about, here's the place to ask for it.

In addition, I'm going to be setting up a weekly food meetup somewhere around town at trendy or popular places so everyone can meet each other and find new great spots to eat at. So every Thursday (which seems to be the best day for this), we'll be meeting at a new spot. I'm going to call and make reservations Wednesday night of each week, so try and RSVP by Wednesday afternoon.

First week!

OCTOBER 9th: Chada Thai

Approximate cost per person: $40 with tax/tip and no alcohol.

Chada is my recent favorite restaurant in Las Vegas. I think it unseats Lotus of Siam as the best thai restaurant in the city, perhaps the country.

I go here a lot and I'm sure some of you have as well, but I figured this would be a good a place as any to organize a meal on short notice. I'll make the reservation for Thursday at 7 PM, RSVP please if you can make it!

Bah! I can't do Thursdays, and I'm super jealous. Think we could rotate nights? Sun thru Wed works best for me.

yah so Im in for sure +the gf for tomorrow if your doing reservations; rotating days each week could be a good idea too to allow more people ect. ...probably going to a scuzzy 'gentlemens' establishment afterwards if anyone wants in also haha

Can you guys say which days specifically work best for you? We might move this week's to next week then if we can't get a group together quickly this week. I knew it was kind of a longshot.

Sun night thru Wed night works most weeks for me. I have a very predictable job/poker schedule. I usually play daytime/afternoons M,T,W and will happily leave (and hopefully take my profits) for a good supper.

I actually might be able to make it, if I bring a change of clothes from work... Hmm. I will consider, how awful would it be if I show up at like 7:30? I don't wanna be a PITA.

...well im one of those eat slowly then reflect on the deliciousness then eat more types so youd find at least me hanging around lol

Might be in...followed your tip about Chada in the casual dining thread Gobbo and went when some friends were in town. Got the pankang duck per the recommendation and it was absolutely incredible. Seidel got seated right before us and was enjoying some wine and a book haha
