Alright everybody. Booked this trip a few months ago when things were looking up in the world and we will PUSH THROUGH! Leaving next week and wanted to get this started so I can test my tapatalk and sling as much BS as possible.

And have no fear as the WSOP Circuit is in town at my local and I will oblige with some pics and HH and general lite debauchery.

Things have changed since my last TR. No longer a full time pro poker player, though I really do miss it a lot. Got a 9-5 and usually play once a week after work on Fridays. Worked $1k up to almost $20k in the past year and a half and then took some shots that went poorly. Current roll is around $6k and I'm more focused to spin it up.

Some positives about not being a pro is that I play more aggressive since it's not the rent money and I can officially keep my roll separate. However, I pretty much hate the job I have and there is a non-zero chance I get wasted and quit from Vegas.

Goals:
Play some poker. Don't want to play super drunk for more than $500, but DO want to start at 2/5 and win enough to play 5/10 to win enough to play 10/20 or something stupid. Gotta chase some real run good to make that stair step before I become too drunk.

Play perfect Pai Gow repeatedly. Literally the best thing about Vegas. Free drinks, min bets, no sucker bets, break even, smoke cigars and drink too much.

Have a strict bankroll for Craps and plan on running it up.

Pretty standard plan so far.

I am the antithesis to Foatie in that I will consume levels of THC that would not phase your average middle schooler. I have a 1 gram cartridge that I puff on and it takes me about 6-8 months to finish it. Small puff + cigar + whiskey = All I want in life

Cigars:
Bringing some crushers. Bought a Padron sampler for Christmas and will be bringing at least 1 or 2.



Dropping kid114 off with the grandparents Wednesday night and then catching an early Thursday morning flight in with Wifey and Brother. Staying at Planet Hollywood

Things to do include:
Pinball museum
Pool time
AYCE Sushi
Reservations at El Diablo in The Mirage
Reservations at Bacchanal (sounds like a sex move while listening to classical music)
Watch Boutiques (I'm just kicking tires, but will push G to buy something nice)
Trying not to die from the heat


Alright. Posting this before 2+2 erases everything. About to leave work and go straight to the casino where I hope to find people wearing all kinds of vlogger attire and gaudy jewelry. Usually sit with $1K at the 2/5 but might try 2 bullets at 5/5 PLO for $600 each and see if I can spin it up. If not, will step back into my comfort zone.

Was at the top of the 2/5 holdem and 5/5 PLO and PLO got called so here we go. Got a local favorite at the table too. Bud Light Greg. Buys in for 200 and jams blind until he spins it up. Then plays slightly tighter (he actually looks before stacking off). He's already slurring at 7pm.

BL Greg was moved and next hand I raise QQ22 on the button. Flop QJJcc. Bet 50 into 125. Call. Turn 6c. He checks I bet 175. He calls. River Ad. He leads 225. I go all in for remaining 340 amd he calls. My hand is good vs QJ. PLOL anyone?

Love the pai gow plans, my favorite way to catch up with buddies and smoke some cigars. If you haven't checked it out, this site does new discounts every day. Sometimes you need to wait a week or two to get the smokes you are looking for you can definitely up your cheap cigar game https://www.cigarmonster.com

Pretty common to see things like oliva melanios for under 6 bucks a stick.

Also if you have time, head over to Caesars Palace. You can either go to Casa Fuente in the forum shops where they have a house blend of the opus one with a cameroon wrapper that is pretty great (coming from someone that is not a fuente guy at all), and they also have the best mojitos in town. Other option is going to montecristo lounge. Good selection but cigars are crazy overpriced. I would bring some of your padrons, great place to watch sports and they have a great bourbon list. Other great thing about that lounge is that it serves food from Old Homestead, most of their food is pretty mediocre but they have the single best burger currently in Vegas.

Back at it in the home casino. Lost Kk, kk, JJ, and had to fold AQ on Q67ss.

Here's the AQ hand.

Super lol passive table. Limp, utg 2 raises to 20 call 20, I raise on the button to 75, SB cold calls call call.

Flop Qh6s7s. (300)
SB leads 125. Fold fold I call.
Turn 3x. Sb jams 500. I fold. He shows Acqc.

Got him to rage quit soon after.

Limp limp I raise 25 with 36ss in CO (slightly annoyed and a drink or two in). Button calls, call, call. Flop A5s4.
Limper bets 20 fold, I call button makes it 80. Limper folds I call.

Turn 7s.

I check. Button lol jams 550 and I snap call. A5 no good.

Agreed. 5 Vegas makes great everyday/budget cigars. Pretty solid when not using your better cigars.

Might do a longer write up at work in tge morning but ran like God this weekend so definitely free rolling Vegas. Started the evening down about 700 in 2/5 and cashed out up 2755. I'm not a super crusher but all the spots at the table played soooooo bad.

Oh and I just reread my PLO stuff from above. I was not apart of quads vs quads. Just happened at my table

Hand History from Thursday night. You got the stones to jam?

2/5 and I'm in the UTG straddle with 10. CO limps, BB completes, and I raise to $40 with AQ. Call Call. Main V is 25-35 year old black guy. Goes for some super thin value raises at times and has been caught bluffing once. We are $2k effective I think.

Flop ($120) Q72
V checks, I bet 50, CO folds, SB calls.

Turn ($220) A
SB checks, I bet $75, he min clicks it to $150. I call.

River ($370) 7 He leads out $295.

He's repping so thin here in my opinion. 22, a flopped flush, AxK? Looking back, I feel like if I jam that would be a super cool move that might work some of the time?? Holding A, uncapped with AA and QQ in my range and blockers to boot. It's a good player so he would at least consider folding.

Played 3 times this weekend and netted up around $5k! Obviously the PLO run good was awesome and the holdem last night was laughably bad.

Main spot at the table is a 50ish white dude playing any 2 cards and running it up. Turns over 2 flushes with 106s and K4s and calls a flop bet on 1063 with 23o to turn 2 pair.

He's in SB and I raise from middle position with 55. Button calls, he calls. Flop 959. He bets out $60 or something and I raise to $200. He snap calls. Turn 7. He open jams KK for $1000+ behind.

In for 2400. Was down 700 when I first sat down and ran it up!
