It was. And it was also breakfast, lunch and dinner in one!

Did they have any sliders at the buffet? My dad and step mom visited about 3 weeks ago. I had about $260 in comps at Bellagio. I had never tried the buffet out so I got 3 lunch buffets. We went around 2:50pm right before they switched over to the dinner buffet. It was one of the worst buffets ever. I was extremely disappointed. I basically had a couple pieces of chicken, mashed potatoes, a couple oatmeal cookies, and a small piece of strawberry cheesecake. When 3pm rolled around all they added was brisket and a couple new pizzas that looked like crap. For $29 and $39 for the lunch and dinner buffet it was a complete ripoff. I could have gotten the same amount of food in a $5 fillup from KFC.

I was looking forward to having some sliders but they never added those. Golden Corral has 4 times the food for a 4th of the price. I definetely won't be using my comps on the buffet again. I guess I'll have to try a burger, onion rings, and milkshake for $25 or so at Snacks next time. I was so disappointed in the buffet that I almost went back to the poker room and asked for my $87 in comps back.

By the way, I would highly recommend the cheeseburger, fries, and drink deal at the Red Rock Cafe for $5.99. I've had it a couple times and it was one of the best burgers I've ever had. My dad and step mom also said the same.

No sliders that I saw CWSports. Shame you felt that way about the Bellagio buffet mate. I've always preferred it to the Wynn, Cosmo, Aria and Venetian ones but I haven't tried the Bacchanel at Caesar's which I hear is fantastic.

I limp from cutoff, SB limps and BB makes it $15. I call with 22, and SB calls too. Flop is 334ccx and BB leads for $20 when checked to. I call and SB folds. Turn is a 10, putting a second flush draw on the board, and BB leads for $40. Now this is a spot that it would normally be right to fold but he acted quite quickly and never thought to consider the possibility I could have a set, even if he has the overpair he is repping. I called again.

River is J hearts completing the backdoor flush, and BB jams for $106. I study this player and I have had a fairly solid read on him from earlier hands which he has confirmed by showing his cards. On this occasion, he starts watching his mini iPad and leaning back, which is normally trying too hard to look relaxed. Then when he sees me looking at him, he suddenly leans forward and tries to look as if he is not being too relaxed. All seems to add up to AK and maybe AQ.

I make the call and he turns over.......

A nice splash of early rungood at the Bellagio $2/$5. First hand I have AK and win a $370 pot after a KJJ flop. 3 hands later I have AK again and shorty shoved for $91. The AKK flop wrapped things up quickly.

Then a couple of hands later, I 3bet QQ to $60 and get two callers. Shorty shoved $113 on a KQ3 flop and MHIG.

Also had to fold 44 to a 4bet and two players get it in pre for $500 effective. QQ>JJ.

Stack doubled in first orbit.

I open for $15 with 77 UTG, UTG+1 makes it $40, 4 people call (yes, FOUR!) and I call to make it 6 to the flop, which is an oh-so-beautiful 763ccx. I check, UTG+1 checks, next to act bets $105 (with $350 behind) and Argentinian who is on his third buy in since I sat down min-clicks it to $210 with $240 behind.

Folds to me and I obviously jam. The guy that made it $105 folds what he claimed afterwards was bottom set, and Argentinian calls. My hand holds against whatever it was that Maradona had.

Revenge for that "Hand of God" goal is complete 🤣

That's great. I went to the casino last weekend and was in the elevator after checking and guy says what game do you play? Then says you look like a poker player. I had a button down shirt, dark jeans, tennis shoes, and a hat. Not sure what about my imagine said that either but same here no headphones or backpack.

Sometimes I get asked what the difference is between $1/$3 (or $1/$2) and $2/$5 and it's normally just summed up by aggression and 3bet frequency. Here's a hand that seems to sum it up well......

$1.3k effective. Folds to button and he opens for $25. I'm in the BB with A8 suited so make it $65. Button defends.

Flop is 844 rainbow and I cbet $60. He re-pops to $140, I 3bet to $400 and he folds.

At a $1/$3 table, the differences would often be......
- button folds pre-flop
- my hand is flatted rather than 3bet
- button does not re-raise. He just folds, or flats if he has a small pocket pair.
- A8 would often not 3bet the flop but would flat, check turn and be in a horrible spot if button continued.

It's by no means definitive but does seem to be a good example of what I see as the differences between the two games.

That's what I've noticed too, back from a few years ago when I played a lot and played 2/5 a lot at the Wynn, where all the uncapped games were even crazier.

But in your example the button always has pocket tens and shoves over my 3-bet.

Mars Callahan is in the Venetian poker room making friends. Cocktail waitress got knocked by someone else walking past his chair and spilt only a bit of a clear drink on his back, immediately saying "Sorry, sorry".

"This is an $800 t-shirt" he complained loudly. Looked like a $2.99 one from Walmart to me! wsop 2017 shared TR (watbri & donk dunc)

Thanks mate.

And no evidence of MC trying to be funny. More that he was making the cocktail waitress feel awful who was immediately offering to get a supervisor over.
