I bet if you worked hard you could cut that utility bill in half. Who needs a heater or AC anyways? Pretty sure a 1/1 game runs somewhere in Vegas maybe you should grind that for a month first? Anyways gl man keep us updated.

LOL seriously don't be super worried about where your bankroll is at (like others are worried for you) unless you're trying to transition from regular working life into a full time poker life.

I blow through buy ins and "small bankrolls" on a regular basis. Mostly because I'm doing what I call "Hobby Donking". i.e. drop $$$ on a special night out or buying Lakers Tickets (that's about $1000 for 4 good seats in the lower bowl).

Money and what its really about, its value are all based on perception.

If I start a new thread and announce simply "I'm going to vegas this weekend and taking a $1000 bankroll" -everyone will start spewing their gospel about what is and is not enough money for a 'vegas bankroll'.

The point of this rant? People's opinions on your situation are based on their own perspective of your situation and their perception of your value of your money. You've been supporting yourself for years and being responsible for yourself. You seem happy, healthy and excited about the things you are doing.

I don't see how this could possibly end any other way, but well, for you.

Do what you do and remember:

Thanks man i appreciate it!
I was wondering why i was getting so much hate without even them letting me say why and what i started this thread for. Although they are correct in some circumstances, im just trying to have fun and see how far i can get!

Besides the hate thou! My session at red rock was amazing.
I was so on point with my folds and bets it was great, Felt that i was the best at the table. (which is the mentality i should always have).

Cashed out at $320 and some change(always tip the dealers the rest of my 1's) so a total profit up +170!

$ BANKROLL: $1050 $

One hand i would like to share to was such a beautiful fold (IMO)

Im in late position with 97 and get calls all to me

After the ring around it is 5 handed. with only a limped pot.

Flop comes 497

checks all the way to small blind which is a guy ive been watching and loves the limp with pairs and decent hands. He raises 15. Everyone folds but me i call.

Turn is a 3 of . i check throu cause he seemed strong, and with no hesitation makes it 40. I tanked for 5 seconds and say "Smells like pocket 4's", no response i show cards and fold. Guy sits back, "Wow kid nice fold, shows 4's".

Through the session i called 3+ peoples hands before they even shows, just one of those days were i couldnt get beat lol

The kid's a natural, I tell ya. Heh.

All the best of luck, but truth be told, 1k is pretty much insignificant even at 1/2. However!!! By no means should you let that slow you down. You sound like you're level headed and financially responsible, and that goes a LONG way in this town. With the motivation and enthusiasm you have, I'm rooting for you. Also, that sushi joint is pretty good, so keep grinding that out too.

Ended up sleeping all day until about 12a.m and woke up and thought..

LETS GO ****ING GRIND THEM TABLES.

So first i went to The RIO to pick up a nice online (WSOP) tournament win i got that was around $300, then went to the tables.. and NOTHING. figured hey guess i just go home..

**** THAT, Caesars here i come!

Bought in for about 135 cause i didnt want to break any of my hundreds(I know im so smart? lmao)

First table i hit, full of regs it seemed like and was breaking even for about 2 hours until i got impatient and started raising Ace 7 and **** lol.

Took me down to about 60 left and my table broke.. Felt like that was a sign to just bag and go home and accept the losing session...

**** THAT Put me on another table. (hehe tonight was a big **** it night i think)

First hand i get jacks, raise and take it down on flop. +25

next hand Ace 2 spades with a raise and 2 callers infront of me. (**** it i came here to gamble) CALL.

Flop comes Ace Jack 10
initial raiser bets 25 says " This is always my first bet "
All fold to me
I say "All in is always my first bet"
guy shrugs .. says "I call" (F*CK Atleast i have outs)
he has KQ flopped the ****ing str8, figured i have my 2 out if he had a big ace. UGH COMMON SPADES.

Turn SPADE LMAO, guess it was good i stayed.

Next hand flop flush J 10 and get a guy to push his A K off suit. (**** YEA)

Played acouple more hands but no more improvement and ended up leaving caesars with a hefty 340 and some change and some Sweden bitches number that was also at the table next to me(very flirty the whole time and she ended up leaving the same time i left the table)! (**** YEA)

I will update when i plow this chick and get pics when we go out tomorrow night. (She was kickass so probability of getting laid and a fun night is about 80%. )

Heres some chip porn for you guys and stay TUNED!

$ BANKROLL : $1600 ish $

Good luck OP-definitely rooting for you. Was confused by the above HH as you said you were in LP, but checked to the SB on flop and turn...

Yea i actually re-read that one and saw that, i was in late position though and he was in SB. He led out 40** on turn. Once i saw the mistake i couldnt edit it anymore.
(Suites werent correct either just know it was a rainbow flop)

She got a phone in america and bought it in vegas, so naturally it has a vegas area code.

Same thing happens when the exchange students came to my college and they would all get phones.. Obvi the area code we were in cause of where they bought em.

As far as being a prostitute. Dont be surprised my man lol, vegas is the city of hustlers...

Yea i also got a vibe when we were talking, her and some somewhat older lady were whispering and almost thought they were hinting towards me going with them that night (Idk just what i thought at the time, could be wrong).

Vegas has some strange **** lmao i told her im free friday and couldnt hang out tonight going be out of work late tonight and decided i should just get some sleep(been up all night/day after my grind last night). Ill keep updated though if anything else happens

Btw Shes 27 and i would rate about an 7-7.5, 10 being a dime piece.

And yea her accent was awesome, deff interested in her just hope its not some psycho chick lmao

Swedish accents are amazing, but definitely get her to speak to you in Swedish. You'll love it. Also, learn a few Swedish phrases to drop on her when she isn't expecting it, that will be worth its weight in gold.

Best one is probably if you go out for drinks and when the bill comes say "Den här damen betalar för allting" to the server, which translates to "The lady will pay for everything". She'll have a double whammy of being shocked that you would suggest such a thing as well as that you suddenly speak Swedish.

In the pause when she's staring at you with her mouth wide open, laugh and then follow up with "Ingen ko på isen" which translates to "Don't worry", then throw down cash to cover the entire tab. Even better, that's an old Swedish idiom which literally means "There's no cow on the ice" which somehow means "Don't worry".

If the deal was not already sealed before this, it will be after.
