Out of the Bellagio $405 (-95)
The plan was sound, but I failed to implement properly. As I arrived at the Bell from PHo, my feet let me know I was still wearing my driving shoes. Whoops. Could have been worse, I guess. A blister would make the rest of the weekend significantly less enjoyable. That did not occur.
The walk from PHo to Virgin seemed perfectly safe, well lighted and lots of traffic. The casino at Virgin was mostly unremarkable, I can't tell one from another once I'm inside. I was interested in how it changed. Unrecognizable from when it was the Hard Rock, to my hazy memory. I didn't dilly-dally, though and was soon inside the theater.
Then the drinking started. The drink of choice tonight was the double Makers, splash of Coke. $28 with tip. I had 5. By the end, it was literally a cup of Makers with a little ice and just enough Coke for color. I may have been over served. The stagger back to the PHo was epic. This morning was a bit rough. Finally (noon local) starting to feel human. Probably going to hit Earl of Sandwich and head back to the Bell or maybe Bally's.

Update: not bunk 
For whatever reason, I feel the need to bang my head against a wall repeatedly. So towards that goal, I think I might try one or more local donkaments (Bally's, Caesar's or MGM) this morning.
Feeling pretty good, no booze (well, one)(double) last night, and a buddy indeed got me super high, though it didn't start really kicking in til set 2. I can't wait to hear/feel these sets again to relive. Massive Mr Soul (NY cover) to close the second set stands out, but a bunch of other crowd favorites in there as well.

Starting to resent the walk to/from Virgin from PHo. I swear I get so turned around inside Miracle Mile shops I can't find the same exit twice inna row. I'm sure this is by design.
Noticed that Judas Priest is playing at whatever the Aladdin Theatre is called now (at PHo). There was a time I would have been all over that show (back in high school, for example) Saw em maybe 10 years ago, and they put on a great show.
