Back in May just for a week. Considering a trip report.....

There the 14th thru 17th.. Cannot wait to degen it up at the craps table, make it all back on sports betting and eat copious amounts of earles sandwiches

i wanted to go the weekend after memorial day weekend (may 29-june 4) to play the millionaire maker event and i usually book through totalrewards.com to find my comped/free nights. i've had no luck finding a good deal.

anyone going that week/weekend find something good?

no..its about $55 if memory serves me correctly. you might be thinking about the faux wagyu filet? those get a little pricier, but i don't think even they're up around the price you mention.

I'm going that weekend [May 31st-Jun 3rd]. I got a good deal at the Mirage, $29a night for 3 Days. It was some M Life promotion they were running a few weeks ago, not sure if its still available.

I changed my trip, meeting one friend from WA and a 2+2 friend that's coming in from FL for a convention so now heading out there on March 15th and gonna stay 5 or 6 days.

Got tickets for Alicia Keys for Friday night that I'm gonna put up on CL and getting LOVE tickets for Saturday from MYVegas and gonna put those up there too, gonna add that $$$ to my bankroll for the trip.

Plan on playing a lot of Blackjack, Buffalo slot machines at Mandalay Bay like the drunken degens we are and a little poker.

Also gonna bang out a lot of comps for food, I don't remember the last time I paid out of pocket for food in Vegas.
I also have some freeplay to use and gonna try and convince my host to give me some more for my birthday.

Going back next week, either Thursday 14th or Friday 15th. This will be only the 2nd or 3rd time that the wife has been with me. We're mainly going out to see a concert and I really have no clue what to get into during the days if I'm not playing poker. I usually never even see the light of day when I'm there.

Any ideas on things to do during the day besides shopping? I'm not interested in long trips like the dam or the lake, either.

Finally booked my flight, $88 on Jetblue from SFO-LAS, getting in on Wed 3/13 and leaving (Maybe/Maybe not) Tues 3/19. Booked a comp room at Flamingo for Wed and Thur night and at THE hotel @ Mandalay Bay for Fri, Sat, Sun, and Mon night. Just heard Mandalay Beach is already open so i'll have to go chill out there for a little bit and pretend it's Summer time.

Has anyone had any luck with the $20 trick in Las Vegas, I hope I'm not too shy to try it, anyone have any tips for me getting it to work hahaha .

For $20 go for the baller plus upgrade.

Take a $20 and fold it 16 ways into a triangle, then wedge between your ID, credit card, and a note from your mother that says you're a good, honest boy. When you approach the desk, put all of this in your right palm and casually pass it to the agent while shaking his or her hand. I've gotten an upgrade to a mountain view room 100% of the time with this approach.
