I am supposed to move back in mid-April, in a few months, as long as my military separation paperwork goes through and while my PC&G thread is a non-poker playing for a year thread, I may start up again and play, since my roll is good and the time off by then has been substantial with me going over hands and just getting better by watching my friends play on PStars and taking notes and asking a crap ton of questions they are tired of by now I am sure.

I plan on renting a place on the NW side, using a bus ticket, and working part time while collecting California unemployment and then hopefully playing in May and the months after...if I have to go get a real life job in October, I will, while I finish a semester of school, and then I may work in Canada (Alberta, oilfields) 2 out of every 3 weeks and just play and visit my kid on my week off.

I miss the city...

Going back March 6th-11th. Less than a month away, I'm really looking forward to it.

March 27-28 followed by 3 days in San Diego. Life is good.

How much differently are the games running on weekdays? I am babysitting a couple of drunks and might have to drag them to Vegas if I want to get there before the WSOP, lol.

I'm going for the first time on Monday. Pretty excited. This trip is solo and solely for poker though.

Will be going back in early March. Hopefully some of my broke ass friends will have saved up like they said and want to go simply to enjoy the city. Otherwise it will be another trip solely for poker.

Years ago when I would do this you could get a round trip ticket as long as the return flight was within 30 days, which I sometimes never made....

How much you donk off is entirely up to you. I was actually there for some of March Madness last year, getting in some U of L futures action which I choose to post about on another site.

Two weeks, June 23 - July 7. I booked my trip before the WSOP schedule was finalized, but it's the WSOP I'm there for. I'm expecting to mostly play low limit cash, daily "deepstack" donkfests at the Rio and maybe take a shot in a 1K WSOP event. I don't think my life nittery would make for a trip report that lives up to LVL standards.

Anyone know how much tougher the games are on weekdays vs the weekends? Any soft juicy spots for mixed games or non nlh variants? Thanks!

Soft juicy spots are on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at casinos on the west side of the strip, and Monday, Wednesday and Friday on the east side. Saturday's a pick'em.
