Want to avoid as much waiting as possible, what Vegas poker rooms allow you to call ahead and get on the waiting list?

In addition, how long would the wait for 2/5NL be if the list is a dozen deep?

I know Bellagio (and therefore probably Aria) and Venetian you can. Diamonds at Caesar's properties skip to the top of the list fyi. Most places you won't have much of a wait at all, if you're open to playing 1/2-1/3 or 5/10 while waiting than you'll probably always be seated immediately.

Try any of them. The worst they can do is tell you to eff off.

Maybe a better question is which ones won’t let you call ahead. Every room I play in lets you call ahead. Check Bravo and they will have the numbers you can call. If you see a number for the room it should work. You can also check Poker Atlas for poker room phone numbers.

If you go this month the lists can get ridiculously long. But the rest of the year is normally different.

Depends a lot on the number of tables. If it’s one or two tables it could be a while. However the room might start a new table which would obviously reduce the wait time a lot. If you call ahead to a room with 4-5 tables then you shouldn’t have too bad of a wait when you show up.
