Was up around around 700 at 2/5 (flopped set vs top pair and a nice sized pot w three bet pockets jacks). After another player lost a huge hand all in pre, he rebought and raised the btn to 15. I defended 109o in the bb. Flop KJ9cc. I have 10 of clubs, and check call 15. Turn is Q of diamonds bringing in a back door flush draw and my straight. I lead for 35(not sure if this is great). He raises to 115. A10 is flowing thru my mind but he just raised the btn after losing a huge hand, what are the chances, I call. River is the king of diamonds, board pairing back door flush comes home. Thinking there’s a great chance we have the same hand… I jam to hopefully get him off a chop. He goes into the tank, asking me to show him a card….. he calls and shows a10… damn. Maybe river goes check check and I don’t stack off or I can check fold. What u guys think?
Your turn play is good your river should prob be a check. You are trying to exploit a possibly tilting player on turn, on river you are now trying to get a possibly tilting player to make a big fold. I’d prob just check call river depending on size, while finding a few folds.
