I had the clear app ready to go. I presented the QR code to the cashier and she glanced at it for about two seconds. I thought at some point she would scan it or something but she did not. I received my seat assignments and then another dealer copy that said I had a vaccine. After three hours I bought in my tournaments last night, holy ****, so very glad I met some other players in line to chat with to pass the time.

Was there not a Diamond line?

You ever been to a WSOP before? Wondering how it compares with this year

I think there was a seven stars line, but not sure it was for diamonds. Didn’t think of it until after (I’m diamond). I played a single event two separate years, I thought it was pretty comparable. Did they get more than 2.5k runners for the reunion. O that reminds me, busted the reunion around 4 on, ak vs jj… not many hands to play with but o well
Thinking about playing the $600 one day deep stack at Venetian tomorrow.

Busted the $600 deep stack at Venetian an hour after dinner break, 44/205. 88 vs kj suited. Only had 10 bbs but that pot would have gave me a shot. 25 paid and 28k for first. Four premiums in seven hours—- aces, kings, ak suited- raise and take the blinds. Three bet queens and got no action. Really would have been nice to get some hands…. Played some slots but no luck tonight. Early bed time before Caesars buffet and NFL tomorrow.

Watched some football today… after the packer game, played cash at the bellagio. Won 200 at plo waiting for a 2/5 seat.

Was up around around 700 at 2/5 (flopped set vs top pair and a nice sized pot w three bet pockets jacks). After another player lost a huge hand all in pre, he rebought and raised the btn to 15. I defended 109o in the bb. Flop KJ9cc. I have 10 of clubs, and check call 15. Turn is Q of diamonds bringing in a back door flush draw and my straight. I lead for 35(not sure if this is great). He raises to 115. A10 is flowing thru my mind but he just raised the btn after losing a huge hand, what are the chances, I call. River is the king of diamonds, board pairing back door flush comes home. Thinking there’s a great chance we have the same hand… I jam to hopefully get him off a chop. He goes into the tank, asking me to show him a card….. he calls and shows a10… damn. Maybe river goes check check and I don’t stack off or I can check fold. What u guys think?

Your turn play is good your river should prob be a check. You are trying to exploit a possibly tilting player on turn, on river you are now trying to get a possibly tilting player to make a big fold. I’d prob just check call river depending on size, while finding a few folds.

I think "oh, he must be tilting" is such a terrible line to take in general, though, with OP's hand. That's a mindset for when you flop a monster and you want to let him tilt off chips.

You don't want a call on the river, because if your read is tilt, what's he calling with that's worse? You really think he's raising on the turn with a lone T? He's not calling with missed clubs, and if you really do think he's on tilt, how is he laying down AT?

Yeah, I was being a jackass earlier by just saying fold pre with no other content, but that doesn't mean I think it's incorrect. With the spot you were at, just check and probably fold on river. (I assume you bought in for 500 so ~1200 at start of hand, pot is 290 minus rake on river, villain has 370 behind?)

Yes your fold pre analysis is probably fine lol. I was prob in a mood at that time as well. You are also correct by saying he’s not calling with worse.

Sorry about the lack of updates. When you are in Vegas, with a gambly wife, meals, slots, tables, ubers, tournaments, it’s tough to get pictures and remember to post every day! I did cash in the 1k bounty. Collected eight bounties for 2.4K as well as a top 60 finish for another 2.5k. Definitely ran well to acquire bounties. Came back from first break w around 15bbs. Nearly tripled w kings, and went on an awesome run winning flips and 40/60s. Table draw was great after a pro busted in the second level. Could exploit some players that probably didn’t know too much about super turbo bounties.

Definitely changed after when they moved a few tough Europeans and Viet Vo on my direct left. A few hands I wish I played differently, but overall thought I played ok. When we got into the money (around 150 players) I lost a few flips and found myself sitting on 20 bigs. Andddd the cards were nowhere to be found. Down to 65ish players I opened QJo in the hj to 50k off of 375k ish? Btn short stack jams for 200k total… so have to make a call and you know he has aces. Next hand I’m mp2 sitting on 7 bbs and jam k5s, get iso raised by a9o, no luckkkk.

It was really fun having a sweat and that’s why I started this. Getting deep in a big tournament is an awesome feeling, and made some money!

Wife won at slots and bought a new overpriced purse, so she was happy! Just got home and miss Vegas already!
