Nine days until Vegas! First extended trip(week long) to play a few WSOP events. Planning on firing at least one bullet in the Reunion as well as the 1k bounty. May find another event at the Venetian or Wynn.

Will arrive Thursday afternoon, staying at the aria. Thinking about stopping in at the Rio late Thursday night to register said tourneys. Do you guys think it’s worth ubering over to reduce wait times on Friday morning?

GL. I think pretty much anything is worth not standing in a line, but I have no idea how bad they will be.

I’ve downloaded the Clear app and gotten that out of the way. It gives you a scan code for 12 hours almost like a ticket.
A few years ago I was gonna head over to the rio early, but then you get to Vegas and the last thing you wanna do is go to the rio and register a tournament lol

I was in Vegas in April, ubers were tough. Wait times were long and many times the prices were insane. Found it much easier to run up on the cab line. Perhaps I’ll try Uber in the mornings, when there’s less demand.

One week away! These days are dragging by!

Haven’t mentioned it but I’m sucker for some craps and slots as well as poker. Not much luck in the pits/slots but wtf that means I’m due!

Some Vegas tourney history—Biggest tourney score-final tabled a Wynn tourney a few years ago for 5k. Fifth place… was knocked out by a tough European, after I knocked him out about 10 hours prior. Believe I was third in chips with around 12-15 bbs final hand, 4th and 5th place each had under 10 bigs. Unfortunately after 14+ hours of play, my ICM knowledge went out the window. Would love to revisit that rush you get at final table!

I hope you make a final table or two!

FWIW, we were in Vegas two weeks ago, and Uber was fine. My husband used one every morning to head to his conference, and we used one to get to the airport. No problems and he didn't mention the price being higher than normal.

Almost done with the first of a three day work week, can you tell I’m excited!? Getting my sleep adjusted (since I work third shift) on Wednesday, land in the afternoon on Thursday. Javier’s for an early dinner with the wife, and some gamble gamble after!

Dinner at Javier’s…. Phenomenal! And thank god for that because slots/craps were terrible pre dinner. Gamble some more before heading over to the rio to register for the reunion!
