What the actual ****. How did he hit 72K with quarters? That should be 10K if the royal paid 4000 credits per, I'm having trouble under standing how the jackpot got 7x as high? Was there some sort of add on bonus for a dealt royal?

Yes, these are machines with a progressive only on a dealt royal. (or technically if you draw to a royal on every single hand) Aria and Cosmopolitan definitely have them. Other casinos on the strip do as well.

They typically have 25c/50c/$1 denominations for 3/5/10 play. Each has a separate progressive amount. Since the hit cycle is so absurd you can end up with weird situations like the 25c 5 play having a higher progressive than the 50c 10 play.

No problem. I actually owned a CrossFit gym for 6+ years, and my wife and I have provided nutritional counseling for the vast majority of that time. I usually don't offer advice to people who aren't truly interested (I think the majority of people who want "advice" are actually simply looking for an argument), but I'd be happy to answer you.

At the airport. Cab came right away, no traffic, check in smooth, and the flight is actually early. I'm terrified- I'd rather use up all my run bad on the logistics of the trip. I was considering getting a coffee and purposefully burning myself to get some run bad going and save some run good for the trip lol but now the airport wifi isn't working so I'm typing this from my phone. I'm hoping that represents the entire run bad for the trip haha.

The last time I was in the Wynn, they had exactly one $25 blackjack table. So I would guess it would be hard to find $25 baccarat unless it was a weekday afternoon maybe.

You answered my question with your response Leon: Through business you made fitness and nutrition a part of your life so you have good structure built in despite the fact your schedule may be full at work or there may be a desire to blow off working out/good eating on vacation.

Early Day 1

I ended up sitting next to a nice, but overweight and very immobile old woman on the flight. She had the hardest time getting up to let me in, and I actually had to buckle her seat belt for her as she lacked the flexibility to do it on her own. 5 min after take off of course I need to piss, but I don't want to bother her again so I elect to hold it. By the time we're touching down I am in agony. And, I had to wait for her to get off first which obv took a really long time. RUN to the bathroom as soon as I can- hopefully that good karma will be returned to me with the machines.

My parents pick me up at the airport, and it's straight to the Wynn for food and gambling before afternoon errands.

We order a few things- baby bok choy, kung pao chicken, two orders of shu mai and the soft shell crab.

Now we've got a few hours before my parents have to run some errands...

I play and hit 4 aces pretty fast, but without a kicker.



Then, I get dealt 4 to a royal, but hit nothing obv. I then get dealt this...

I'm really going to have to hit those kickers soon or this is going to be a bad session. I step up to 10 lines with my new bullets and pretty quickly get dealt 3 aces again- and miss in all 10 spots. Not even a full house. I then proceed to donk the money from the 4 aces back into the machine quickly, and now thoroughly pissed off, I switch back to 5 play.

How many times can you get dealt 1 ace and miss? Often. I don't even keep track since that's the expected result. Then, every once in a while THIS happens, which is evidence that a singleton ace is the correct play very often in DDB or TDB...

It's time to go. My parents suggest I stay at the Wynn and keep playing. I avoid that devil's trap instantly and tell them I'll leave with them, and wait at the condo while they run their errands. 100% chance I lose everything if I stayed and played- I'm not falling for that trap. So that's why I'm here now. Up a little, and ready for more tonight.

The whole last trip I didn't hit 4 aces w/kicker once, and today I've already gotten 4 aces twice and the holy grail once. Hopefully a sign of things to come...

Yeah, we try to eat clean on a typical basis. I'll slide a little when I feel like it, special occasion, etc but since we've built the habit it's easy to maintain. Honestly I feel like **** when I eat too much unhealthy food. As far as working out, to me it's training- I love weightlifting and want to get better. Before I picked up an injury last year I had my sights set on some National Masters' records. So it's not a chore for me to train, in fact I'm incredibly motivated to do so and I have to remind myself to rest, DON'T go to the gym, etc. If I miss a few sessions I feel like I'm losing ground.
