Just looking for delicious food places, I'm on the strip so ideally close. One stop for sure I'm making is Pink Box Doughnuts and Capriottis

Willing to uber if the place is not close and a must eat

Thanks

I would suggest Nora's Italian. It is off strip but definitely worth the trip.

Tacos el Gordo (which may have re-opened on the Strip, if not its worth going to Sahara location.)

The casual dining thread is really helpful, even the stuff we havent talked about in awhile will hold up on the casual side of things.

Breakfast- bouchon has best breakfast in vegas or egg slut is pretty good

Lunch/Dinner- ramsays fish and chips and his burger place are very good, oyster bar at palace station off the strip

Late night- allegro for good italian american

Grande Lux at venetian will fit your needs at all hours

More info please. I've always heard it mentioned and seen pics but never been. It looks pretty unique and very much like what I'd think of a classic LV lounge but what is the draw? Food, location, drinks, decor?

Main draw is "old Vegas in walking distance of new Vegas". Food is decent if you're into greasy things. Have only eaten breakfast there, that's pretty comparable to Hash House even though I like the latter one better.

Thank you. My wife and I would like it then. We love spending an evening downtown because it has more and an old Vegas feel and my wife says "this is where my people are", because everything is cheap and low limit gambling. We will have to check out Peppermill on our annual trip in January.

I imagine Lefty Rosenthal ate there a lot.

It's right across the street from where the Tangiers, er, Stardust used to be. I've heard the old timer poker players talk about going over there for breakfast at sunrise. It's a part of old mob Vegas history and it's still open.

Tony Roma on East Sahara, where his car got blown up. He was in there all the time. There's something about Jewish sharps and pork ribs.

There is a lounge area off to the side/back that is old school. Very cool.
