There is a dude that does the Harrah's, Flamingo, Bally's AND PH freerolls each week. Fun guy at the table.

Once again I did not cash in the Flamingo freeroll 99<KK. You know you're behind when the older lady shoves all in, but what you gonna do? Gotta get lucky with several all-ins and I sure as hell dont want to be sweating the money bubble running on fumes. I'm gonna reevaluate whether I continue to play there or not at the end of the year. Right now I'm leaning towards not playing there anymore or maybe just random weeks.

That is a lot of hours including the time he spends playing the free rolls. There is a grinder that does the Harrah’s freeroll 13 hours in one session

For Bally's, I'm averaging $7.03/hr in the cash game over 129 hours; however, thanks to the freeroll (along with one mincash and two bricks at the $105 2k gtd) at MTTs I'm averaging $63.73/hr over 30 hours, to give me a combined average of $17.76 per hour + $1/hr in direct comps on the Total Rewards card.

Also add in about 20-ish buffets.

So I added a filter for Bally's from September 15th on. That's when Bravo says they started the freeroll. From there, I'm averaging $16.63/hr in cash over 67 hours, and $57.75/hr in MTTs over 28 hours, for a combined $28.75/hr before comps.

I must have had a cash in a standard MTT before 9/15 for the average to come down from $63.73 to $57.75. It's definitely possible, but there's no way that the MTT was only two hours long, as I'd never play a 10 minute blind turbo. I must have mis-logged the hours in that tourney.

so since my hiatus from the freeroll grind i've been playing 1/3, 1/2 non promo rooms and 9/18, 8/16 limit games.

I managed to get in 55 hrs in 17 days so averaging 3.23 hrs/day without the pressure to grind hours.


I was averaging 4.58 hrs/day during my 82 days stint grinding these freerolls.

But that doesn't count hours spent playing the freerolls and sometimes when I would drive in, play the freeroll, and go back home only to come back out later.

So far my hourly is about $5/hr more than my combined hourly doing the freeroll grinds, not that the numbers are meaningful yet, but it feels good to see.

What's really nice is being able to sleep in on thurs/fri mornings. Also playing at a place with 6-10 tables to choose from until I find a rocking game. And the ability to play some omaha or mix here and there without it forcing me to play even more hours during the week to make up for it.

I will definitely keep at this even if my hourly goes a bit below what I was able to achieve at the freeroll places.

My main worry was that my volume would drop off a cliff but I think forcing myself to do freerolls gave me a taste of what it's like to actually have to grind, so I can still grind a reasonable ammt now without having to play a lot of B and C game hours.

42. FINALLY got paid $500. Unfortunately, I could not complete the hours for Flamingo this week because I got sick starting last week and missed too many days. Would have probably been the best week to play as well due to the holidays. Oh well. I'll give it another shot next week.

nice job! my best is $300 a couple times. I was in a great 1/3 game at Bellagio last night so still sticking to 1/3 for now.

LolLimit. I haven't been able to bring myself to play any $3/$6 LHE. There's no way I could beat the rake on that small of a limit over the long term, so I'd be reliant on the freeroll, and bricking it would be meta-tilting IMO.

I'm surprised they have anyone get enough hours to make the lhe freeroll. I tried to qualify on my last trip but the game never started until late afternoon and ended early.

Occasionally a group of players from the Flamingo $2/$4 will agree to pick up and migrate over to the Bally's $3/$6

I also heard from a dealer they all basically go the same time in the morning and fold so they don't pay much rake. Basically they will only raise pre if they wake up with a premium hand then the rest of the table folds. They do this for 10 hours lol. I believe the rake is still $5 and $2 for this game ugh

Moving to LV in a few weeks, interesting thread thanks for all the info, for sure beats looking over bravo trying to see the promos and comps.

Im not dead. Ive been grinding Vegas golden knight gear every friday. 50 tier credits tommorow at caesars property (1.5 hrs of NLHE at caesars palace is best) and you collect at rio. Tommorow is a hat. I am a big fan of my scarf and beanie. See you guys there.
