Dear nitty promo grinders. I really hope you are all staying safe during corona. I saw a few flamingo promo grinders at Southpoint while I was finishing up my freeroll hours. Im sure Ill see many more of you at the freeroll.

I was downtown today and noticed some decent VP promotions at Four Queens and Binions (I believe you can do them at both - last year you were able to). This is a little worse than last summers promo.

Earn 4k points - get $400 in cash
$40 bonus comp at 2k points, $100 bonus comp at 4k points
This is on top of the $100 in cash and $200 in comps for 4k
Need 32k coin in to get 4k points

The best machine at Binions is a 8/5 BP with 99.17% return. This gives 100.73% return (99.17% + 0.3125% cashback + 1.25% from the promotion) or +$233.60 in cash and $340 in comps.

Four Queens has a 10/6 DBB (99.96%) but that game has a lot of variance. I'd go with the 99.54% 9/6 JoB. That will return 101.1% or $352 in cash and $340 in comps.

If you can do both at the same time the promo comes out to $585.60 cash and $680 in comps. Each should take about 7 hours at $1 credit ($5/hand) so $41.82/hr in cash and $48.57 in comps isn't bad. Better than any other poker promo going on.

I would do the entire amount in one day. The way they determine comps at both these casinos is coin in per day. Last summer when I did it I got a lot of mailers which ended up being worth $1900 in free play in the last year. They both sent $500 FP in September, $250 each in December and then $200 each in February. Haven't gotten one since. Not sure if it's due to not giving back or corona life

These are some good promos Sigs and even though I’d prefer not every grinder out there squeezing these out don’t see how any $1/$2 promo grinder shouldn’t be doing stuff like this around town.

Your estimate of 7 hours of $32K coin at $1 JOB/BP seems optimistic. I don’t play much and would be happy with an average of 600-700 hands per hour. You’re at 900+. grinding both promos at 900+ hand an hour for 14 hours in one day seems worth than manual labor.

last summer i did it with 40k coin in at about 9 hours for each place over two days. I rarely play VP so I was slow at the start but hours 2-7 on day 1 and most of day 2 were just brain off machine mode. I was pretty sore afterwards and regretted it. Didn't take a break the entire time. I was on a slant top at least. The other type of machines I can only make it an hour before I'm done.

If you're doing $0.25 coin in I'd avoid. 40 hours at $10 hour cash and $11 or so in comps is depressing. If you don't get a royal at the $1 you'll probably end up down. I got lucky last time I did it and ended up $1700 or so before the promos but I hit way above expectation number of straight flushes. No royals.

I wish 4Q/Binions had $5 machines. I'll ride the variance wave.

This promo is also good to feed VP addiction. Once or twice a year I get the urge to dump a bunch on this game before I snap out of it. Always good when you're not negative ev at least.
