Everything about the Blues in Las Vegas, in addition to the big name acts there's a huge local blues scene with free live music most nights of the week.

Throwing this out there for the archives: Vegas has a crazy good and unironic 80s metal scene with a lot of guys from pretty popular bands of the era bouncing around. Vamp'd would be the place to be for that scene.

Re: Vegas Live Music Scene

Any local buzz about the Bender Jamboree hosted by the Plaza Hotel in April '18? The bands are right up my alley (Greensky Bluegrass, Sam Bush, Hot Buttered Rum, Leftover Salmon, etc)(no those aren't menu items). 4 days/nights of music, just "an elevator ride away".

Festival passes plus rooms seem a bit pricey, gotta love the convenience, though. How's the Plaza? I just realized (after looking) I was there briefly to go to Oscar's last Super Bowl weekend (would go back). Didn't spend any time in the casino, and have never had a room there.

TIA for any info.

I don't know anything about the festival, but I'm staying at the Plaza over Xmas, could report back afterward.
