So far Walmarts have been my go to. Plenty of them around here. I've stayed at 3 different ones my first 3 nights without any problems.

Which ones did you stay at? I thought they all have the "no overnight parking" thing and also in Henderson there is a city ordinance banning overnight parking.

Don't know. I didn't see any signs saying no overnight parking at any of them. Saw one other camper when I pulled in yesterday.

I came across this van video of a van lady who states she parks at Whole Foods for the Super Bowl:

It should be noted that one can park at the Craig Road Cracker Barrel but not the Silverton Cracker Barrel since the Silverton lot is owned by the Silverton Casino which prohibts camping.

Camp on BLM land, play poker, profit! lol at flooding, I’ve camped on blm and forest service land to grind, it’s a great option, sure I’ve woken up in a pool of water but that’s just the cost of doing business.

Can you leave your tent there while you go to the casino? And what is the cheapest BLM? Is it at Red Rock or the Lake Mead location?

I got 6 spots I'm rotating between now, all 10-15 min drive from the strip.

Twice security drove up to me at Walmart to say I can't park there overnight, but can do so in the Lowes/iHop lot right next door.

So far so good

What’s BLM stand for in regards to the places you guys are talking about?

I just know it as Black Lives Matter.

Bureau of Land Management. They maintain & police Federal owned land that is not a National Park. Most of the Red Rock area is owned by the Federal government but is not a National Park, hence their presence there.

OTOH, Lake Mead and a lot of that surrounding area is a National Park and is maintained and policed by the National Park Service. Except Hoover Dam which has it's own police force & staff.

Electric vehicles might be a good option for nomads sleeping in vehicles since if one is charging at a charging station then one has the right to sleep in his vehicle and cannot be told to leave since he is a customer of the charging station and logistically is precluded from leaving until the charge completes.
