B. It's what you can get in Vegas for $200 vs what that comparable hotel in another city costs. I don't care if the ****ing Marriott in NYC is $200, I care about what the comparable hotel to Wynn/Venetian/Bellagio/Aria costs, since those are the ones I'm paying $200 for in Vegas. And AirBNB is totally irrelevant to the discussion.
Not to mention, the info in the links he posted is based on a random Tuesday night stay in April. Change that to Friday night in July for places like NYC or Paris and the options change radically (not for the good).

Also the Vegas strip is pretty small geographically, the cities being used in this comparison are far larger. Sure you can find a decent hotel room an hour away from Manhattan or in a Paris suburb, compare that to a room located downtown in those cities and good luck finding a decent one under $200. One comparable to accommodations at The Wynn would run about triple that.

Sorry for adding to the derail of your thread Leon, hope Wynn changes the paytables back to where they ought to be.

Picking E3 for London would be like picking Boulder Highway for LV.

Update 3/26- the Wynn has no plans to restore full pay tables or number of full pay machines. This leaves them with a grand total of 2 full pay machines, both in hi limit. Gimmick full pay games like ultimate X start at 1$ credits, normal full pay games start at 5$ credits.

They have given me an increased amount of free credit, but nowhere close to what I initially requested. Therefore, I'll be making fewer trips to the Wynn from here on out, and they will be in very specific contexts (e.g, family or friends want to go).

Disappointing, and as far as I'm concerned the end of an era. I suppose at this point all we can hope for is Wynn's VP revenue noticeably decreases, but with the number of clueless people out there that's a big ask.

Sorry to hear that, but hey, the bright side is that it might save you money in the long run (though at the expense of leisure; which is not necessarily a good thing).

All we can do as customers is a/complain on social media + b/take our business elsewhere - I wish I could do B with the company that sets my apartment service charge every year, unfortunately it's not worth the hassle of selling the apartment and moving, no guarantees the next apartment charges will not become unreasonable over the next several years either.
