Posting on a message board won't get you any info on home games, get on the phone and put it out there to your gambling friends, eventually someone will have a line on a game they may be able to get you into. That is how we found the games in our area 5 years ago.

Sorry, I don't give out my info on the interwebzzz. But this is how we got into the home game scene over 20 years ago in our old city.

If you are a poker player, you know other players, sports bettors, etc in your city. Speak to them and let them know you are looking to play. Ask them to help you get your name out via their gambling friends. It could take a few months...

Getting into good home games is pretty easy for bad players and really difficult for good players.

Maybe OP spent the last 5 years working on a questionable posting history on this forum to set himself up for an invitation to one of the good home games?

en fuego has a game going on some days (when covid is not relevant). just walk in and it's right in the lobby. Now, being able to talk your way into that game is going to be something else. Let me know how that works out for you.

En Fuego in Henderson is closed for CoVid currently. They do have special orders available for cigars, but not at the store. (They were kind enough to call interested people who asked about cigars on thier website ....


As for the game, I've seen it in action and it is really a social event among cigar smokers more than a real poker game. I do recommend the store, once it re-opens, for a great place to buy and smoke a cigar, watch sports and play what is sort of home poker in a social setting.

Depends on the kind of private game. The majority is self dealt but everything in professional setups and/or 5/10+ just has regular dealers who otherwise work in a casino.

I’m pretty sure you have several colleagues who wouldn’t be opposed to taking a risk and are happy about making tax free cash that’s probably significantly higher than what they make in their regular job.

this guy isnt telling u the truth, for its easy to find out where home games are online. many of them advertise their games quite openly on facebook, even if theyre not legal. just become a member of poker groups on facebook.

ive never known if the reason ive lost money in home games since the shutdown is because the dealers are cheating me because they dont like me, or if its the $15 rake, but i win so few pots i dont think its the rake. someones got to be messing with the cards.

ive won in some but if i quit early with $200 or so profit i dont get invited back, and im sure not sitting there til i give it all back when i need the money. ive got invited back to all 3 places i usually lost. but the place i won 3 out of 3 times its harder to get invited back there. only when theyre having a hard time getting players to fill a table. last time i won there it was never more than 5-6 players the whole night and sometimes was 4 of us. unlike the other games, that game was mostly all asians so u would think winning there would be much harder, but for some reason it wasnt.

The ranking to decide who gets invited to a game is pretty simple:
1. Losing players who are good for the game
2. Losing players who provide no benefit to the game
3. Good friends of the host and/or people who pay him or lend him money
4. Breakeven players who are good for the game
5. Winning players who are good the game
6. Breakeven players who provide no benefit to the game
7. Winning players who provide no benefit to the game

Besides that, I have no idea how those games work in LV but none of the really good underground games I’ve played in advertised on Facebook or somewhere else.
