Swedish National Day
Up early as usual. Beer breakfast, then down to the pool. I'm not really sure, but I think we've got a couple of cute poker professionals at our hotel
One of em got her self an EPT title a couple of years ago. I'm not 100 percent sure it was them, so I get back on that one later.
It was really hot at the pool yesterday so we lasted only an hour.
A walk over to Aria to try the buffè and a quick look at the pool area. Our room keys do work at both Vdara and Aria pools, so we will do a real visit there next week. The food was pretty good and all worth the $26.
Then back to our hotel and tried out the lobby bar. Ordered two Mojitos for $14 each and they were really good! Back up to the room for changing clothes. MrBicce with his finest (only) Swedish shirt
Went over to Planet Hollywood and sat at there strip view bar for a couple of hours and watched the sun go down behind Bellagio. Highly recommend it! Very nice place to just sit and drink beer and watch all the Las Vegas strip action.
At 11pm we went back to Aria for some degen drunk PLO
As usual the waiting list was really long for $1-3 and $2-5. After 40 mins they finally calls MrBicces name for $2-5. Me now feeling to boozed to play and decide to watch some sport in the sports bar.
Forgot to write that MrBicce lost $800 the day before, playing $1-3 PLO, so he had some catching up to do.
The table was pretty deep, but as "Bicce" was to lacy (drunk) to get back to the room for more cash, he started up with only $600. All the $2-5 PLO tables have "Rock straddle" so the pots get pretty big fast. An early key pot was with Qd 10d 8 7. MrBicce raises to $30, cutoff calls and a French guy on the button reraises to $120. MrBicce calls and the flop comes
Kd 9s 4d. MrBicce checks and "France" bets out $180. Check-raise all in with a total of $420 and the French dude calls.
Agreement to run it twice and the first turn card is 5d, river card 4c. Second turn card is 9d, river card blank.
MrBicce luckily scoops the pot.
Another big pot of the night was when Bicce holds AA64 no suit. After some raise and re-raise Bicce calls 300 pre flop and it's 3-ways to the flop. Flop comes 2-2-2 . Bicce and other guy checks to original raiser who bets out 300 (half stack). First guy folds and Bicce goes allin. OR folds. After the pot one guy claims he folded the last deuce, says to the table Bicce was bluffing
Steps away from the table with a $2100 profit.
Team Sweden $5730 profit
