Gah, wrote an update on the phone but then the tapatalk-app just ****ed up and everything disappeared.
The 2/5$ Holdem table at Aria wasn't that fun. Played for about 3 hours and was down at 400$ and up at 900$ and cashed out for 750$.
One fun hand though.

Fi checks back instantly and i'm about to muck my hand when he flipps over 8 4.. I look over at the board, then his cards again, then my cards and realize I scoop the pot with my 9 high haha.
Ludde is doing the same thing as he usually does, losing every single pot at Omaha. So after like 2 hours Ludde is stuck 3k$ and wants to go to the hotel, I'm not done playing though so I give him taxi money and continue playing.
Not that long afterwards I decide to cash out, ending +50$, and head over to Wynn to try their games, i've heard that they have good 2/5$ games. I take a cab over only to realize that its day 2 of the 1600$ tourney, how did I miss that knowing that my friends played it haha, ohwell said hi to them and then walked over to Venetian.
Bought in for 550$
Quite boring the first hour. Made some bluffs that worked out, made some hero calls that didn't work out. But eventually I managed to double up.
I look down at KK at CO.
2 limps to me and I make it 30$.
I get one caller and we are of to see a flop.

I flip over my kings and expect to see a 7? When he sees my kings though, his face expression changes quite fast and he flipps over J T

River is king and I fill up a full house and scoop around 1-1.1k$.
I win some more pots and then Ludde writes "Lets go and eat and then im going to spew off another 3k$". So I cash out about 1250$ and take a cab over to Aria again and finally be able to order my General Tao chicken over at Aria cafe.
When we were done with the food we walked over to the poker room only to realize that the list was insane. About 40 people on the waitinglist for 2/5$ and like 10-15 for the PLO games. We just sat down and talked for like 1.5-2 hours, spewed on some machines.
Eventually I got a seat at 2/5$ and a quite funny hand happened.
This is the second hand since I sat down. I look down at AQ in SB and CO makes it 30. Considering 3betting but decide to flat.
We are heads up to the flop which is QJ7.

I think for a while and decide to go for a raise and just stack off if he shoves.
I make it 275$ leaving about 250-290$ behind
He tanks, and tanks.. He looks down on his cards and then on the board, shakes his head and then just sits down for a couple of minutes just looking at the board.
I start to realize that he probably has KK-AA.
Someone eventually calls the clock and he shows KK and muck it.

The games over here in Vegas are crazy tight, I mean on this board i'm going to raise a lot of draws, crazy to fold KK here for like 120bb. At least in my world. In a cash game back home in Sweden if KK faced a raise on this board he would just shove, then grab his car keys from his pocket and throw them onto the table... maybe even house keys...
Then Ludde came over and said that he was going back to the hotel and I decided to join him and leave the nit-table.

Thinking about maybe going to the Penn and Teller show? Thoughs?
Yeah no plans on renting a car so Battlefield is perfect for us.
And neither one of us smokes marijuana so not really interested in that either so

btw, recreational marijuana is now legally for sale in Las Vegas, although there are weird rules (like no smoking it in a hotel-casino ?) ....would recommend edibles if you need to be discreet.

Sorry for the lack of updates... but it really sucks writing on the tapatalk app with autocorrect being on swedish.
So Friday evening we went to Craftsteak (not crabsteak that I wrote in last update lol). I went for the 18oz Ribeye and the rest took the Sirloin. Some great sides and a nice bottle of wine, perfect dinner and afterwards me and Ludde went to bed early with the plan on going to Arias poker room early.
Up at around 7.00 and took a cab over to Aria and ordered some breakfast at the tables. Sat down at a 2/5$ that looked kinda reggy-ish. To the left of me is a guy in my age that keeps on 3betting me every spot I open basically so after 30 minutes I decide to 4bet T T and call of his jam for 120bb-ish. Unfortunately he had queens and I did not improve.
I reload another 600$ and just a couple of hands later he 3bets me again when I open BTN with Q T and I decide to flat.
Flop is pretty favourable

He continues for about 50 into the pot of 100ish.
With all draws being out there I go 200$ and he thinks for a while and then ships it. Snapcall.

So I take another cab, this time over to Venetian. Waiting list on the 2/5$ game so I decide to sit down at a 1/2$ PLO game meanwhile, 30minutes later I get a seat at holdem and leave the PLO game up about 250$.
When I'm about to sit down at the table some guy leaves the seat, I ask him if the seat was good and he was like "Nah" and a guy at seat 8 said "You are going to have to suck out to win on that seat".
Two hands in I look down at J J with 1 limper I make it 25$. Seat 8 calls and limper calls and we are off to the flop.
Flop is rather favourable, like Andrew would say, and I look down at J 8 3, topset!
I make it 55$ and seat 8 instantly raises to 150$. I think for a while if I should flat or just ship it (playing about 600$ behind). But since i'm OOP and this is my second hand at the table I just decide to ship it in and seat 8 snapcalls and ask me if I have AK... lol
I show my hand and he swears and tables queens and goes on telling me how bad he runs. Board runs out brick brick and I double up, perfect start after the miserable morning.
I play for like 4-5 hours and leaves with +972$ (I was up about 1500 but then lost a pot with aces where I hero called river).
Went over to Aria and took a burger at Burger Lounge and then strolled over to the PLO game where Ludde has sat down again. I watch him bust a couple of thousand $ and then decide to go over to MGM and hook up with our new friends who are playing 1/2$.
When I arrive at MGM my friends tells me that Julian Draxler is sitting down and playing 1/2$ holdem in the poker room. Looool. Hoped at least that he would join the 2/5$ game but no.
I sit down at the MGM 2/5$ game and the table is pretty decent. I win a couple of hands and makes some bluffs that work out and after like 60 minutes i'm up 600-700$.
Then I look down at 98 and I make it 25$ after someone limps. We are 5 to the flop and again the flop is pretttttty favourable.

I make it 80$ and I get one call (the big fish at the table).
Turn is a 4 and I make it 175$
Again the fish calls and river is pretttty worthless.
River is the Q giving the board a four to a flush.
I check and hope that he checks back but he makes it 200$ into the pot of. I think for a while and then calls and he shows J J sighhh.
So the 1100$-ish pot goes the wrong way and i'm almost down to my buy in. Some hands later the fish leaves the table and I decide to cash out and go on the booze, because the plan for the night is Marquee and Dj Mustard!
We get there around 01 and I pay 100$ entry, lol, and then proceed into the nightclub. Not really my kind of music but it was a good night and first time at Marquee!
Stayed out until like 04. We went back to MGM again and tried to convince some good looking ladies to join up to our hotel room for a after party but it turns out Taco Bell was a better option for them.
Today we have just relaxed by the pool and soon we get picked up by a Humvee and are off to Battlefield Las Vegas for some rounds. Really looking forward to this!

So Sunday was great!
We got picked up by a Humvee around 16.00 and went to Las Vegas Battlefield to fire off some rounds.
Unfortunately they wouldn't let us take pictures with the guns but it was really fun.
We all went for the Seal Team Six-experience and added on AK47.
Afterwards we went over to New York New York and went on the roller coaster ride and then headed over to the casino floor for some pit games and drinks. We started out at Craps and went on a nice run and after spinning my 50$ up to like 200$ I decided to just go all in and hope for a decent rush. The lady with the dices rolls 7 on the first try, busto.
I head over to the blackjack table with the 50$ in chips I have left and I go all in, bust. Lost like every single blackjack hand this trip, oh well.. I pick up another Benjamin Franklin from the pocket and decide to bet all. I pick up an Ace, perfect... dealer picks an ace aswell.. and I take a 4 and dealer an 8. Ohwell, I look down in my wallet and see that I have 200$, I pick them up and go all in again, bust once again.
I wasn't the only one who ran bad. Ludde busted like 600$ at black jack, and took a loan from both Sebbe and Patrik of 300$ each, and tried to win it back.. but ended up losing it all. Semi tilted we walked over to MGM to get ready for the pool party.
Ludde looked over on me and said "Lets just bet big and win it all back". Ludde was stuck 1.7k$ from poker and about 1.2k$ in pit games. I decide to decline and not spew off any more.
We get up to the hotel room and Ludde asks if he can loan 3k$ from me and I obviously accept. We walk down to the Baccarat-table in the high roller lounge. He puts in on Banker and when the dealer has dealt the cards Ludde is just looking at the cards and then asked "So, who won?" haha. I explained that he won 2850$ (they take 150$ comission lol) and he was now break even!
As we walked out the room Ludde gave me my 3000$ back and I walked past the black jack table. Oh well, lets just bet 500$ and win and be break even. I tell Ludde to stop me if I lose the 500$ bet. Obviously I lose again and without even thinking 1 second I place another 1000$ on the table... come on now... And again I bust.

After that we went over to a restaurant, ordered take away, bought booze and went up to our room and started drinking and were getting into the night swim-mode.
Took a cab over to Encore and walked into XS and oh my god, best party i've ever been to. We hooked up with some younger girls, they had just turned 21, stayed with them for a while and I hooked up with one of them, when I asked if we should leave she said that she couldn't leave her friends.. Then they got lost and we continued partying and when the place were about to close we talked with two chicks from Czech republic and they joined us for a afterparty. Over at Encore we met one of our friends who stays at Encore in a suite. He wanted us to have the afterparty in his suite but his friend was sleeping in it preparing for the main event... so he obviously did the only sane thing to do in this spot.................. he booked another suite... rofl.
So we went up to the Encore suite, raided the mini bar and ordered up a bottle of vodka. But then we all like got really tired so when the booze finally came up we were so tired so we threw the girls out and passed out.
Yesterday (monday) nothing really happened. We slept until like 18.00 and went to Rio and watched the Penn & Teller, and talked with some friends in the main event. Then took a cab back to MGM and ordered room service and passed out at like 00.30
Today we went to Grand canyon with helicopter. Crazy sick ride. Because of thunder storms the skywalk were closed but the helicopter ride was amazing.
Now we are heading over to Palazzo to eat at SushiSamba again and then i'm off playing 2/5$ over at Venetian or Wynn

So we went up to the Encore suite, raided the mini bar and ordered up a bottle of vodka. But then we all like got really tired so when the booze finally came up we were so tired so we threw the girls out and passed out.
Yesterday (monday) nothing really happened. We slept until like 18.00 and went to Rio and watched the Penn & Teller, and talked with some friends in the main event. Then took a cab back to MGM and ordered room service and passed out at like 00.30
Today we went to Grand canyon with helicopter. Crazy sick ride. Because of thunder storms the skywalk were closed but the helicopter ride was amazing.
Now we are heading over to Palazzo to eat at SushiSamba again and then i'm off playing 2/5$ over at Venetian or Wynn

Trip is over for this time. On the airplane towards New York now.
We checked with the airline went we left Sweden if we jump off at New York and get our bags etc... and they said that it would be no problem.
When we arrived at McCarran today we told them that we were going to jump off at New York and that we would like to recieve our bags. The girl at the counter said that she couldn't do anything and that the bags would go to our final destination... sigh.
But the plane wont take off with our bags on the flight right, when we aren't on it?
Oh well, we don't really care about the bags... we can buy some clothes in NYC. But do you guys think we'll get in trouble when we jump of the plane in NYC and don't show up for the next flight?

If you've never been to the "Freemont Street Experience" in downtown Vegas it would probably be worthwhile. But only go at night. Night is 10x's better than seeing it in the day. The Golden Nugget has a cool pool area with a huge shark tank by the pool. Alright! Long update coming up, last nights in Vegas and New York!
On Tuesday we went over to SushiSamba for our second time this trip and make a similar order like the last time. Oh my god, the food is just amazing. Especially the Wagyu on hot stone-thingy…
Afterwards we took a cab over to Aria for some Baccarat-spew (Ludde won about 1k$) and Olof, who joined us at SushiSamba for dinner with his friend Eli, won about 500$ and me and Eli just railed.
Plan was for us to grind cashgame, but with the list being that long and me and Ludde kinda tired we decided to call it a early night and go back to our hotel.
Wednesday morning Ludde tries to wake me up and convince me to join him down to the pool, never. My goal for today was grind non-stop until our flight to New York.
I pack my bag, take a long shower and then grabbed a cab over to Venetian. Sat down at a newly started 2/5$-game and bought in for 1k$. The table is pretty soft and I can controll it pretty decent. Eventually an asian guy makes an absurd play, and calls me down when I’m 3barreling my ace high in a 3bet pot. He tank-calls river with like 75o on 7J43K. Don’t really know how he calls pre etc, oh well… guess he was tired of me betting and betting. So i’m stuck 800$ and reload another 1k$ and from this point on it goes pretty smooth.
I manage to make some great suck outs. The best one was where I open Q8s (my favourite hand) and flop is 862. One of the fishes at the table leads out, he gets one caller and I’m not folding here.. I make the call and turn is quite good, it's a queen giving me top two. The fish continues and the third guy folds, I think for a while if I should go for a raise here or just call it down. I decide to go for a call and plan for river is probably snapping of every rivers… Well, I have to re-evalute that decision when river is another queen, giving me a full house. The fish continues and bets like 200$. I tank for a while and then raise it up to 500$. The fish thinks for like 5 seconds, and makes the call… I table my hand and he mutters and flashes 88 for flopped trips, ops. Could probably have taken the last 400$ if I just jammed, but what evs.
A couple of hands later its time for me to suck out again. I open 75s and get 3 callers to the flop. Flop is 893 giving me a gutshot and a backdoor flush draw, with the table being so soft and nitty I obviously continue bet here are 2 folds and one snapcall, hm okey.. Turn is a 6 giving me the straight, cool, cool, all good here.. Fi checks again and I bet out again and he snapjams for about 400$ total. Uhm, easy call and he flipps over 33. It takes him a while for him to understanding that I have the best hand, I dodge river and scoop a nice pot again.
I decide to leave Venetian being up 116$ and head over to Aria to meet up with Ludde and Olof for some grind and beer. I signed up at both 2/5 and 5/10 but got a table at a 2/5$ game. Bought in for 1000$ and won the first pot after herocalling down with ace high. The its time for me to play my biggest pot of the trip.
I look down at Ac Ah at BTN and playing 1200$ everyone at the table covers me.

Me and Ludde meets up with one of my friends from back home. We go to our hotel, we agreed that she could stay with us for the weekend, and drop everything off and took a fast shower and then went out to see what New York could offer. We got recommended Buddakan, a asian restaurant over at Chelsea market. Ordered in a lot of food a long with a great bottle of red wine. The food was good, but comparing to SushiSambsa it was nothing! When we were done we strolled over to Le Bain, a roof top bar, and we saw that it was like 20-30 people in the line so we walked up to the guy at the entrance and asked him if there was any list or if we just could stand in line. He told us that we could stand in line, but neither one of us were interested in that so we walked away, then some guy from the inside began shouting at us and I walked back and he said like ”Nah, its cool… you can come in” and opened up the line for us and let us walk past everyone? Haha, neither one of us really understood what happend but hey, we didn’t have to wait in line right?
Great view, had a couple of beers and prosecco, then back to our hotel for some nice hours of sleep. Woke up Friday morning and strolled around the city, went to Macys and then got back to our hotel at like 16.00 and then slept until 20.00, had ourselves a fast shower and went out again to grab something to eat. We walked around in downtown (we lived like 1minute from the Wall Street bull) and eventually found a restaurant that looked nice, called AKA hotel. Ordered ourselves a nice filét mignon and another bottle of red wine, discussing on the plans for the night, we decided to atleast go out and see how the nightlife was.
We’ve had a lot of people recommending The Box, a night club that offers some kind of crazy show? So we take a cab over to their location and luckily the line was kind of short this time, only 3 people standing in front of us. We begin talking with them and they say that they have been standing in line for 30 minutes… Ludde looks over at me, then at Emma, then at me again and begins to smile… He goes on and say ”Okey, lets be ******ed” and he walks up to door man and is back 2minutes later and says ”Okey follow me”. Apparantly he had decided to go with a bottle service for 1k$, luckily he says ”You can pay 200$ each, I take the rest”.
So we go into the club and order a bottle of 1L belvedere and from there on we just get ****faced, the show was kinda ”meh”… we have heard that it was going to be CRAZY, and I mean it was kinda weird but not like we have heard it would be.
Dont know when we got back home but we woke up Saturday morning and didn’t leave the room until like 12.30. Then we walked over to 9/11-memorial, afterwards we took the subway up to Central Park and walked around there for maybe 1 hour before heading back home.
Took another power nap and then headed over to Bodega Negra for dinner. Wasn’t that impressed with the food. The restaurant itself were nice and good cocktails but the food was kind of ”meh”. With everyone being totally hungover and destroyed the only reasonable thing to do was to make it an early evening and go back to the hotel afterwards. Problem is that I’ve heard so much great things about the roof top bar over at 230 and 5th. So me and Ludde said that we would go over there and take ONE drink, then back home. Emma was totally dead and decided to not join us and instead go back to the hotel.
Me and Ludde gets over to 230 and 5th and see the big fkn line. Oh well, lets skip this and go home then…. is what a sane person would say. Then both me and Ludde looks at each other and both are thinking the same thing…. bottle service?
So we agree that we aren’t going to spend more than 300$ EACH, because neither one of us is that thirsty or in the feels for partying, we just wanted to see the view. So I walk up to one of the guys standing with the list and ask him how the bottle service works. He tells us that its starts at 250$, alright thats fine, even lower than we had plan to spend perfect… so we begin to take out 250$ each, then he tells us its 250$ total… hahahaha so me and Ludde begins to laugh and it's a snap call from our side. We give the guy the money and he calls over a waitress and she takes us by the whole line, and we dont have to stand in line to the elevators and then got a nice table with a great view over the Empire State building. We went for a 1L grey goose and a lot of red bull so we managed to rack the bill up to 390$ and then left 460$ total, perfect! When we got back to the hotel I was totally smashed and woke Emma up, which wasn’t that popular on her side.
Woke up today totally hungover, Emma left early to continue her journey and me and Ludde had to check out 13.00. Both our flights are 22.30 and 23.30 so we had some hours to kill. We went up to 5th avenue and had plan to spew of in the shopping malls. But being to hungover and destroyed we ended up like buying 5 t-shirts, then we spend like ages looking for a massage-place were we could grab a massage for 60minutes but they were fully booked. Somehow me managed to kill the time and got picked up at 19.00 at our hotel, sucks though that Luddes flight is from JFK and mine is from Newark, oh well. Sitting in my cab right now, been stuck in traffic in the same spot for like 15minutes now, damn this citys traffic is ******ed haha.
But I guess this sums up the rest of the days on this trip, hope that you have enjoyed it.

Ludde is probably going to Vegas for the NHL premiere in October/November, cant remember when it was… and I might join him on that trip, otherwise I’m hopefully going to Vegas next year (and then i’m going to play WSOP Main event).

We walked over to the gate (with the flight to Finland) and told them that we had to stay in NYC for a couple of days and that we needed our bags. No problems at all, I don't know if it helped that they hadn't started to load the bags on board (our flight arrived at the gate next to the departure gate) so I guess our bags still we're on the vegas-plane when we told them to not load the luggage.
