So yesterday I thought it was Wednesday. Did the hike anyways after realizing it. I took the 154 on my way there and it was too foggy.
However, it became crystal clear about halfway there.
First, a pit stop in Solvang. I highly recommend paying this town a visit.
I next headed to my destination. The Valencia Peak trail in Los Osos mountain.
The halfway point is my favorite part. You have to cross a mountain to get to the peak, but it looks like a bridge. Really cool!
The scenery as you get to the top is nice as well.
The reward for your efforts at the top.
This is how the mountain bridge looks on the way down. Really love this part of the hike.
I can see my rental car from here.
And Spooner's Cove as well.
On my way back I stopped at Solvang but the Ingerborg's Chocolate Factory was already closed. Luckily, the Copenhagen Sausage Garden was still open.
This weihenstephaner original was really good.
And the sausages, from left to right: bratwurst, currywurst, bockwurst, red polse
Bratwurst was the best, bockwurst was the worst. Next time, I'll get two bratwurstwoth bread and toppings.
That's it for now. Sorry for the lack of updates, I'm mostly grinding at the Player's Casino here in Ventura. This Friday I head back to Las Vegas. Hope you all enjoyed the hike pictures!
