It's been a long exhausting day. After breakfast I went down and got on the list for 13 at the Venetian they don't open until 9:00 a.m. so I got in the very first game when they opened. The session didn't go very well I got up a little at the beginning but then I just kept coming in second place. I probably had the best run of cards of any session this trip as far as starters go. I just couldn't hit any flops and kept leaking chips and I made a couple of really bad plays and I was feeling pretty tilty. I was down to $98 from my 300 buy-in and I thought real hard about adding on but I was just tilting a little too much so I said screw it I'll walk around a little bit. I went up to the Grand Canal shops and got a chair massage. My back felt tight from sitting at all these poker tables all week. The massage really felt good. Then I decided to change things up and try another round of Baccarat. A new shoe was just starting and I wanted to test my system on a whole shoe. This is the boringest thing you can possibly do. But it worked and I ended up cashing out at the end of the shoe plus $79.
After after the massage I just walked for a while trying to get more steps in cuz I was short on the day. I was also starting to get really hungry so I decided it was time to get a late lunch or an early dinner depending on your definition. Once again I went to one of my old favorites that has been talked about here in the past. Fried chicken and Cornbread at the Yardbird and it was awesome.
After walking off dinner for a bit I decided to take one last shot at Cash poker. I got right into a game at the Venetian and it was brutal. Totally card dead and I think I dragged one pot in about 3 hours. I decided to say goodbye to poker for this trip and cashed out down $149.
Was really tired and wanted to get back up to the room to pack as I have an early flight out tomorrow morning. But first I decided to take one last stab at bubble craps. The first roll hit hard and that made me feel a lot better. I cashed immediately after the seven for plus $244.
So that's a wrap on the casino portion of this trip. I wanted to get up to the room and pack which I have done I'm about 98% ready to go I just need to throw a few things in tomorrow morning before I leave. I also decided to try one of the amenities in my room the jacuzzi tub. If you have a room with a jacuzzi in it you might as well use it. It felt great.
I had a really good time but I'm looking forward to getting home. Gambling save this trip. I got incredibly lucky at bubble craps and that made up for my mediocre poker play. I broke even in the tourneys I lost a little over 400 in cash but I made almost $900 in bubble craps and Baccarat. I realize this is not a good long-term formula as the casino games will kill you in the end.
I'll probably do a wrap up when I get home tomorrow but thank you all for following Along on my journey.
