Just got (at midnight) took a late flight so the first day is already over and I haven't even started yet.



Just unpacked and went down to the CVS for essentials. One of those essentials was a tall boy I am sipping on right now. Will go to bed soon and hit it fresh tomorrow. Staying at the Treasure Island mainly due to location. Plan on a tournament heavy trip and this place is handy to V and Wynn. Even with staying in tower suite it's less than half the price of a V or Wynn room. It's basically just a big room V size but with 2 bathrooms.



Gonna crash soon. Got a little sleep on the flight but it wasn't too comfy. Hope I can get some good rest in.

Typically my first few days in LV are an all out battle with my body clock. But getting very late and tired forced me right into Vegas time. Slept great and woke around 7am. Cleaned up and got my traditional eggs Benedict.



They were awesome and since I hadn't eaten since previous afternoon I devoured them quickly.

After breakfast I took a shot at some bubble craps. I slid in 100 and in less than 2 minutes that was gone. So I slipped another and caught a roll and ended up cashing out for 252 (+52). So I am already up.

Today I plan on playing day1a of a $400 2 day tourney at the V. I have only ever played in a couple of 2 day tournies and have yet to see a day 2. So I'm due probably just wandered around until tourney starts to get some steps in before I hopefully leatherass that tourney into the night.

Busted after 7.5 hours. My cards were crap but I made a few plays and dragged a couple of good pots but it wasn't to be. .needed food bad so just grabbed a slice at the V. CF will have to wait for tomorrow. As I was leaving I saw a new baccarat shoe was starting. Not really feeling it and stuck a little but I just ordered a beer and I really want beer right now. Probably just chill and low stakes gamble and drink. That tourney was real grind!

Mr B, what is the resort environment, vibe and clientele like at TI?

I don't think I've ever walked through the resort, other than to ill advised trips to Gilly's and Senor Frog's

It's definitely lower their from across the street at Wynn and palazzo. Lotsa fat hillbilly looking women smoking and playing slots. But I am here for the location. V poker room is about the same distance from my room as one at the Palazzo.

The suite is pretty nice and not much more than a standard room and still half the price of across the street.

That tourney today really had good structure. 40 minute levels and 40k starting chips. I hung pretty good for while but tournies can be unpredictable . I'm really worn out right now. Plan was to play the Wynn tourney tomorrow but that ain't happening. Maybe Wednesday. Tomorrow I do cash and eat on schedule.

The baccarat didn't go well. Lost $55 and could never get a good run to materialize. So I went back to TI and cashed my parlay. I always bet a token $20 White Sox win/Cubs lose parlay. Sox got rained out but Cubs lost so I won $14. Then I decided to try bubble craps one more time before heading back k to the room to drain couple of tall boys. It worked! In for 100 out for 516 and I left over 150 on the table when that evil 7 showed up.

You may like it. Me? I don't mind it personally I like the strategy of a higher tier room at a lower their resort. I have done it at others places over the years.You get a lot more bang for your buck. I don't really spend time in TI casino or restaurants but I have extremely nice lodgings here.

Slept pretty good last night but still got up at 530. Took a nice 6 Mille hike. Headed for Planet Hollywood for breakfast as they have my favorite French toast.



Then I took a spin through both Aria and Bellagio and each only had 2 games going. I hit the conservatory too. A spring theme.



On the way back k I wandered through Caesars and took a pit stop for a very quick try at bubble craps and scored on the first roll so I bolted. In for 100 out for 173.




If you do ever play bubble craps beware of a new variation called "easy craps". I sat down at one yesterday without realizing. If you come snake eyes it isn't craps your point is 2. Not sure what all the rules are but I am sure it's bad for the player.



Was gonna hit the pool this morning but its kinda cloudy so I may just chill for a while and watch the market until I head somewhere for a day of cash poker.

Just got on the list at the V so just sitting here waiting for a seat. Before checking in I slid another 100 in bubble craps and it vaporized in record speed. The run good is over
