Looks like I’m joining the Covid TR club. At the airport now. Staying at Elara on Hilton Points. No plans except for some puck bets and Catch tomorrow. Hopefully play some low limit poker and will be lowrolling craps. No promises except pics and poker punts.

In, and I hope you run good w puck picks. Who ya got? If there's a line that says "Massive covid breakout that only affects TOR-CBJ series," put me down for 20. Cuz screwing Toronto is always good for the Canadian psyche (non-Ontario version), and **** Tortorella just on principle. I'll also take any line that revolves around Matthew Tkachuk and pain.

(I am a Bruins fan. Currently all I feel is pain.)

Scooped the Isles on the puck line this morning (totally weird having games FINISH before noon) for a nice win. Passed the Nashville game. Gonna take the Canadiens straight up I think here soon.

The other beats continue though Bouchon is closed till next weekend. No chicken and waffles for me. Gonna have to find some other grub.

Leaning Oilers and (sadly for my hometown) the Canucks tonight. McDavid is too good, and Stalock can’t stay in his crease to save his life, and the Canucks have definitely figured that out.

I’ll be honest, the leafs CBJ game scares the hell out of me. I very much cheer for the leafs, but Columbus keeps having guys go supernova (both goalies, PLD) for a game. Gotta figure Seth Jones is due for like a hat trick or something

Quick update.

Milos for lunch octopus and salmon. With “no bar” I am sitting at a table for 1. Definitely weird . Food was great though.

Watched the MTL vs PIT game, half at Cosmo half at Aria

Little catch up here

Had dinner at Catch in Aria. yellowtail sashimi and Spanish octopus. The Spanish octopus here is delicious. Highly recommended. Told the waiter to tell the bartender to make his best non tequila cocktail. Got a Meatpacker Manhattan for the drink (they serve it in a flask and let you keep the flask, kinda cool). Also very delicious. Do recommend.






Couldn’t find the leafs CBJ game on at any sports book so grabbed some booze and headed back to my room where this view

The ending of the game was insane and a ton of fun to watch. Plus no need to mask up in the room.

Met up with a friend and caught the wild Vs Van game. 3 wins and 1 loss, not bad. Unfortunately there are only glorified preseason games tomorrow, but today was a good day of watching puck.

On Aria poker list. Not sure if it closes for cleaning or not overnight. Hopefully I can get on one of these crazy 6 handed plexiglass partitioned games.

Catch up post again

Played poker at aria. Was different and also not as much fun. 6 handed, in a plastic telephone booth, and there’s little to no interaction with the table. I love poker but this just isn’t my jam. 6 handed becomes 4 handed real quick.feel like I had to stay on my toes the whole time or I’d miss blinds, a bet, etc.

Momofuku for lunch (always great!) ramen and a pork belly bun. One of the better lunches in America

Beer garden for dinner (their version of a Philly cheesesteak). Was supposed to be MajorDomo, but Like I said ran into an old friend, took a detour.
