Shots were $10. Pic is super blurry just realized. $110 with tip for one mixed drink, one beer and 5 shots. Crazy for our small town... nearly double bar prices.

Re: TR July 30th - Aug 3rd

So far, no good. Everything seems closed, casino floors are decently busy, but the rest just feels dead. Hoping its just the 1am on a Thursday and the weekend is much better.

Walked about 40 minutes and 4 casinos had their stores closed so no booze even. Went back to Flamingo atleast and the first store we got our beers at is 24 hours, so there is light at the end of that tunnel.

Re: TR July 30th - Aug 3rd

Man! Typical first night in Vegas - forget that I'm not 21 anymore and drink like I am to feel like total crap the next day. Lol

We got two 24oz beers at the Flamingo shop along with a 750 of fireball since service wasn't great anywhere we had been, although we didn't sit or stay anywhere for too long.

We end up walking the side route to Ballys and are the only souls in sight. D gets about 450 deep into a slot before nailing it for 500 and cashinf out up a few bucks after a few more spins. I plopped down at a virtual craps since every craps table is full at 6 max. I get about 500 deep playing the max 30 on the don't along with 2 dont comes while D plays virtual roulette and smacks 17 twice in like 5 spins for around 900 each - hes on a heater!!!

He finally finds 2 spots next to each other on a real craps table so I cash out around 300 from my 500 and we throw some real dice. By now, we've finished the fireball and service is rolling so we are gonzo!

We end up playing for hours almost always ont he don'ts for 50-100 and tipping 5 every bet...sometimes taking odds, sometimes riding 2 or 3 dont comes, but we end up doing pretty well and get the others at the table to just to the donts with us.

Last roll we both have around 1k in the rack and I have like 300 out on dont 8 with odds, D has 700 out on the same thing. I roll like 20 times just to hit a damn 8.

We call it around 6am maybe and find a spot to grab some pizzas, I dont even remember this part, but when I woke up today there was a full pizza sitting by the TV. Hahah

After dry heaving a few hours ago, I think I'm finally ready to get up and rolling - Umiya all you can eat sushi is on the schedule. Cant wait!!!

I'll try to do better with pics today!

Re: TR July 30th - Aug 3rd

First epic fail! We just got to Umiya sushi, didn't make a reservation because all time slots were open and figured we could walk in.... 4 hours wait! Stuck waiting for a cab 15 minutes in 110 degree heat after just getting a cab there. LOL. Back to Flamingo to the new steakhouse I guess. Did make a reservation for tomorrow to Umiya though.

Re: TR July 30th - Aug 3rd

Bugsy and Meyers - new steakhouse at the Flamingo. Service was fantastic, food was pretty good, but not great and these places never really seem like their worth the price, but we did get to keep our masks off for an hour or so and just talk so that was a big plus.

Tomahawk ribeye for 2 with toast, caramelized bacon and egg on top. $146

We did a small seafood platter for an app, but demolished it before I took a picture. $28 for a small, 2 bite lobster tail, 4 bite crab salad type thing and 2 cold peeled jumbo shrimp. Was decent, but again no where near $28 decent.

Added a potato puree side and 2 steak sauces. Total bill was $204 - D used his diamond celebration dinner for half of it.

No big plan now, D is hitting a slot - he working toward diamond plus, about 800 credits to go.

BANG!!! Converted it to real, real money. Hit the win all progressives coin for about a $900 scoop. Still has $125 in free play left too. New machine, looking for another jackpot. Haha

Final free play conversion - $1266 white meat. D had another ticket for $366 from another machine he was in for $400 to.

I think he owes me dinner atleast because I picked the machines. TR July 30th - Aug 3rd

Cheesecake factory to go for dessert. Too many choices so went with the simple. Strawberry and Vanilla bean.

Re: TR July 30th - Aug 3rd

So I donít play slots really at all, but I don't mind watching them and figuring out how the payouts work. D plays a ton and so I'm just picking the ones that "speak" to me. Lol.
I passed up all the slots at Caesars head to linq for D to get his last 150 credits to hit diamond plus... pick the same game he made 1000 on earlier and about 15 minutes in, he bangs the max for the 1300 call attendant. Unreal!

Re: TR July 30th - Aug 3rd

At this point it is getting ridiculous!!! I sat some 1-3 at the Venetian while D smacked 3 more spins for $750. Cashes out $2,100 from $200 buy in. As the V poker room closes, I go look for him, as soon as I find him, his machine goes off for $3,000 jackpot! This is unheard of!

Run bad poker stories from me soon, but don't want to drag the thread right now. Haha

Re: TR July 30th - Aug 3rd

Day 2 continued and finished

Copied from the messages I sent D -

Crazy story... floor has to run my rewards card cause its old and shitty and doesn't work at the table.... floor comes over like 20 minutes later to talk to me... she goes can I talk to you in private for a sec... uh oh!

She goes i ran your card and it was flagged from 2 years ago on July 8th... and we shorted you $100. Lol. Like WTF, I said how in a poker game... she said something with the dealer, chip runner, transaction... and gives me a $100 chip. Hahha. Ship it!

And without too many notes or long typing here are the 4 hands that led me to a $230 loss in about an hour (only $130 from the extra $100 the floor gave me).

KJcc sb, call 12 flop ccx. CheckCall 20, turn x, check call 45, river J, check call 75. Good vs JT

AKcc UTG to 11, all 5 call. Flop 2K4c. Bet 25 +1 calls, turn 9c 65 +1 calls, river x bet 163 all in for +1 he calls with 44

4 handed A9hh utg limps, I go 12 from sb, bb calls. Flop 962ss, I go 20 he calls. Turn 7 I bet 45 he calls, river is 5s, i check he bets 80 i fold

A2ss make it 11 cutoff. Sb calls, flop 9Q7scc, check i bet 15 call. Turn Ks check i bet 40, he calls. River is 3rd club rag. He checks, i check back, he wins with 57ss

Any questions or comments on strategy I could give me thoughts, but cliffs work the best.

Finished up with getting a burger and breakfast sandwich at Americano at Caesars (appears to be the only good 24 hour place around us). D got that tab since he's crushing it!

D +$6,100
Me -$50

I liked the burger better, D preferred the breakfast sandwich. Both were good, but I only finished about half of my half of the breakfast one. Fries were really good too.
