Enjoying the thread as well. Heading to Vegas for opening weekend NCAA end of this month and staying at Mirage. Group of 9 going with 2-3 poker players. Ready to grind it up, not going to have enough time for tourneys gonna stick to cash.

Question for you, what are the craps minimums u have seen while there? Just curious as I like to play but those $25 mins can hurt a trip bankroll in a hurry. Thanks

Time to catch up. Saturday night after making Day 2 of the Venetian $75k went back to the room and changed, then made way to CarneVino and sat at the bar.

Had a nice Riesling and started with the "Roman salad" (I.e. Caesar salad lol). Came with anchovies on top which I love.



Asked the bar tender for a pasta course recommendation and he told me about an off menu beef cheek ravioli with 25 year aged balsamic, so got that and it was delicious.



Decided to go flat iron. They carved it table side and drizzled some nice olive oil on it with some sea salt

Got super food coma'd and went to bed.

Woke up at 7 on Sunday and hit the gym then jumped in the pool to get invigorated. Had a smoothy then coffee and walked over to the Venetian. With 80 players or so left play was surprising tight, but with only about 20 bbs I had to pick my spots. Sadly and finally, was on the button with a little under 17 bbs, big stacks in both SB and BB, who have been playing tight and laying down hands to raises. Gets folded to me and I squeeze AT clubs, I jam and SB snap calls, BB folds. He turns over QQ and that's all she wrote. Not sure if that was the right play but no one at the table gave me the "what were you thinking idiot" face so I guess it was marginal.

Went back to the Mirage and rented a chair at the pool to avoid the pool bedlam, and had a sad mai tai .
