This has been one of my favorite TR's in history. I love the meal dedication and the variety. Even though I'm a local, I don't try a lot of new stuff in town until I see a review done in a format like this and 2+2 has been one of the best sources for this.

Thanks for the amazing TR.

You guys are hilarious lol

How are you feeling after all the burgers/ice cream/buffet ?

I would recommend checking out Serendipity 3 right out front of Caesars Palace, way better than Marble Slab man. They have like the most insane desserts ever. Or perhaps try some of those world-class shakes at Holsteins in Cosmo.

Perhaps Gobbo can chime in, pretty sure there are places WAY better than Marble Slab.

We'd be skinny too if we ate fish paste 99% of the time.

Before we jump into more food, a story from last Sunday. We went to see Carrot Top at Luxor because we wanted a stupid show instead of the Cirque stuff that's always, well, Cirque. Halfway through the show there's an act where a bucket of booze comes down and CT starts giving shots to the audience. We are sitting in the second row so he comes to us, and i refuse to drink cos i'm driving. Then he almost offers to my friend until he says "how ****ing old are you?" I say he is twelve, my friend just craves the shot, CT looks befuddled, and finally shoots off to give a shot to Flavor Flav who's in the middle of the theatre. That's the downside of looking like you're 12. But don't worry, we got the booze from elsewhere, though.

Yesterday was my last day in Vegas, and gladly we were able to stay at Wynn instead of Super 8. First, a little Starbucks drive-by was followed by a Five Guys Cajun fries visit. Little fries only. Then off to Wynn pool so that everyone could see my burger belly.

We planned on trying some rides in the Strato but their fishy broken ticketing kiosk ended up costing them at least $50 in admissions while we diverted towards supercraps (or crapless craps as they call it).

We were on a roll, as we hit some tough points: 10, 10, 4 and 5 in a row. Then we sevened out on a 3 point which would have been too much to ask anyway.

Then we moved on to a cigar lounge on Sahara for some coronas lowstakes chinese poker.

To add extra variance we included 2 jokers and black deuces served as additinal jokers. Seems like my only poker rungood was saved for this game. That, my friends, is a royal flush.

Then i had a small appetizer (only one burger and a shake) at In-N-Out before we headed to Chada where we had set up a dinner with gobbo. We started with thai beef jerky, and moved on to following:

Fresh oysters with chili paste and fried garlic

Spicy herb spring rolls

Chu Chee crispy prawns

Duck Panang

Moo Khum Waan (pork tenderloin w/ mint, garlic and chili)

All of the food was ****ing good and very inexpensive for such good quality. This and the steak at Cut were the top two dinners on this trip (with Cut costing thrice as much). We went dessert hunting afterwards but Raku and another place closed their doors right when we arrived. Maybe it was a hint.

We did some crapshooting for dessert and headed to Parasol Down which is my favorite terrace in Vegas. The Pear-A-Sol Martini is the nuts, and i also make them at home (which is probably the only place in Finland that serves Wynn cocktails).

Our annual food accumulation trip has begun. Wealth accumulation will be left to others.

This is true love. Animal style.

Then some 1-2 texas in Flamingo followed by a detour to Hash House a Go Go

Verdict: good but not good enough. 3/5. We will drive to BabyStacks Cafe next time. However, the fried chicken benedict looked damn good, and it will get a chance to shine for us.

Guys-love your style and report-

a couple of menu tips if your going back to Five Guys-Extra Bacon and Cheese are free on your burgers if you are into that, and order your fries family style (one large order should be enough for 4)

Have fun, and thanks for sharing your trips

Fail agreed, everythimg the girls next door had looked better than what we had. That said, simple things like eggs, bacon and fried potatoes can be pretty damn good if done right. Especially scrambled eggs are so easy to **** up by overcooking them.
