Not this time. Probably staying within a 100 mile radius from Vegas, except for the trip to southern Utah.

Glad I stopped in.
The main card room I play at is in Oceanside and haven't heard of Ty's.
As for 50/50, I really enjoy the chicken there and the vampire dip (garlic cheese) is great.
For Vegas I am partial to the steakburger at Bardot if you get the chance.

And shake shack is good for the low-mid level price.

Chick-fil-A is terrible, I went twice because I couldn't understand why all the love for it, I musta missed something the first time? Nope, still awful.

Instead of Five Guys try Smashburger, my favorite of the casual burger joints.

My go-to at In n Out is double double, mustard pickles grilled onions only, and fries well done. Not an animal style fan because I don't like their spread.

First session in vegas. At Aria. 2/5 NLH. Me being stupid.

Me Pre limp TJo, button 15d, me call. Flop 78Ar. Check. Button 20d. Call. Turn 6. Check. Button 60d. Call. River J. Me 150d. Button call. AK wins.

Why play that at all? No reason really. Just wanted to play and thought that I have decent chance bluffing him out on river plus the 4 outs to a straight.

Stupid. I blame the 24 hours without sleep. Back to basics.

Like above post indicates, one of us has arrived in Vegas already. The rest of us are flying tomorrow but with different flights. Less chinese poker means less beats.

I started warming up for a greasier American diet by having some fresh Finnish vendace at the market. Fish done the right way: fried in a pound of butter.

When I first moved to a chick-fil-a city I felt the same way but then I discovered their spicy chicken sandwich which is the nuts. Also people love chick fil a because it is legit the fast of the fast food places which is a huge plus for parents with young kids (chick flick a specifically caters to this audience).

Chik-fil-A > Five Guys > Dog **** > Dog **** after sitting in the Vegas heat for 12 hours > Smashbuger

Smashburger is atrocious. I mean, I'll make fun of people for recommending Shake Shack, but at least I understand why people enjoy it. Smashburger is vomit on a plate with absolutely zero redeeming qualities. How they ended up as a chain is a ****ing mystery to me.

First stop: well you know what place. Meet my good old friends, 2x2 animal and 3x3 animal

The new Encore room feels like a downgrade compared to the old one. Maybe it's the white colors or faraway-ish location that doesn't quite click. Good room anyway, in terms of cocktails at least. Also, my loose friend on my right juices up the game.

If your doing Zion you have to go to Bryce as well. It's about 2 hrs away. Well worth it.

First visit to Five fuys for all of us (Four guys). I took a double cheese bacon with everything but mushrooms. Quite nice but doesn't beat fatburger. Not bad by any means but not very unforgettable either. However, what's up with the size of the fries? Those in the photo are little fries. The only thing little is the cup. It's ok to have a portion too big rather than too small. But hey seriously, little fries?! That said, the cajun fries tasted great.

Have you tried the American classics, like Bob's Big Boy or Coco's?

Haven't tried those but we have eaten at Dennys quite a bit until we got bored with it. Applebee's and especially their boneless buffalo wings with a truckload of ranch are an all-time favorite, though.

Burgers burgers and more burgers. My ass is tired of ****ting burger. What is it with these guys and burgers? No, I didnt vote for burger hunting as the theme of this trip.

Relax hand of the week: 1/3 texas.
Back position KT. Couple limps. I raise to 15d. 2 calls. Flop KKT. Checked to me. Check and hope somebody hits something. Turn 4. Checked to me. Check. River 4. First checks. Second bets 200d, 200d left behind. 4x the pot... I raise allin. Call. I show. He mucks. Ty for the donation. Our company thanks.

I smell weakness in above post. I am shoving burgers down his throat atm. To avoid war, we are going to have a good steak today.

Tried Fuddruckers last night as a night snack. Quite an interesting build-your-own sandwich concept (salads on a side table and you can add the kind of combo you want).

There was a real donationfest at Wynn last night. There was three of us playing (while the fourth guy mincashed the Aria nightly) I barely broke even but two others were given several 100bb gifts. Games have been better than expected overall.

Spicy Chicken Sandwich, waffle fries dipped in BBQ sauce washed down with an Arnold Palmer is the stone cold nuts!

Their only weakness = closed on Sundays.

I had one like that at Bally's a couple weeks ago. Call a raise with 55 on the button, flop is 55x 2 spades. Checks around. Turn is third spade, I throw $15 into a $35 pot, called in 1 spot by a guy that's been pretty aggro and winning, and has a decent stack. River is a blank, checked to me, I bet $25, which is probably too much. Guy thinks, talks to me a little, I say nothing because I'm bad at giving off tells, he eventually folds. I show to get my $50 high hand bonus.

They bring out 13 tiles upside down with card values on them to pick. I pick the tile with a 5 on it for a payout bonus to $500. Easy game.

re: Fudd's, did any of you try a buffalo or elk burger? Supposed to be good.
