Would you have been playing at a 1/2 nl poker table at the PH in April 2014? I recall a guy that looked like you who was drunk and commenting on hookers all night and got up once and walked over to a Blackjack table to lay a hand or two of 500 dollars on Blackjack or so he said. I'm sure that describes a lot of people, but I would like to think my memory is that good or maybe you are that memorable. Pretty sure the fellow said something about being from Carolina too and maybe? was wearing a UNC hat or jersey if I recall.

lol. had to have been me, was there in April 2014 and play,stay at PH often. I do harass hookers and have fun with em, but i never close with a hooker or suggest it. I get really hammered sometimes, sit down with people i have no memory of who know me and tell me about crap i did that i dont recall at all. I guess i leave an impression. I am either loved or hated, for sure, but i never mean to be assholish

Yep, that always happens to me in Vegas. I play all night really drunk then come back that afternoon and half the table is saying hi to me and I have no memory of them at all.

OP I'm going to break your first rule but I've got to ask.... What do you do for a living to have the money to sit and play with whales and celebrities? You seem to stay in town for very long periods and your gambling seems to be pretty over to top, so I'm just curious how you pull it off.

You don't have to answer, I know it's your own rule not to ask, but I had to since you and your buddies just seem like normal guys.

I work a few days a week for a company, and self employed. very modest income. I dont wanna say too many personal details on here since its public and all. Meeting all the people i have didnt have much to do with having money or playing big at all. Around 98 a guy got me started buying domain names and i decided to buy many with a certain prefix (no porn or nothing, it was tech). sold many to a company around 04. I am half Clark Howard frugal and half Ed Norton as Worm degenerate. I put away a lot of it, invested and my retirement is set. However i let the Vegas bug get me, played for a lot more than i should have my first trip in 05 when i had plenty of cash on hand. Really though, a lot of celebs play modest. ill never forget being at bellagio, playing craps with seahawks RB shaun alexander right after he won NFL mvp. guy was playing table min. $10 bucks a roll and got excited as ever. Jay mohr played 25-50 a hand. when i played with mcdougals boyfriend, i was only playing 100 a hand (got drunk and out of control later though) the old man who gave away money, was playing a $25 min table. when they asked him to play at a larger table, he said i dont wanna play with a bunch of uptight ass*****, i wanna have fun with drunks like Slim. I met Wayne Gretzkys agent at a $25 table back in 2012 and we were friends since, hung out the following 2 years during the jordan golf tourney. he never once boasted who he was, but i did end up hanging out with the Gretzky fam some, they were all nice. Wayne has to be the nicest celeb in the world to put up with the constant hounding, but never gets mad, never tells anyone no. I will get to how i met many others. Its not about money at all, its about being genuinely friendly, a good attitude and with celebrities... just dont say something to em just to be saying something. especially not crap they hear 30 times a day... I dont get starstruck at all anymore, could care less about someone just because they are a celebrity, but if someone is cool, sure i walk up to em, whatever, as long as the timing is right and i dont feel im bothering em. In my experience, most genuinely nice celebrities appreciate a sincere compliment/fan. The whales i hung out with i will get to eventually how we met.

I played black jack with gretzkys agent for 3 straight days before i even knew he was his agent. he was also brett hull's agent at the time, asked to get a pic with my 2 fav players when we were in the bar, asked him to take the pic and they told me that was their agent when i asked how they knew his name. he was just not your stereotypical vegas "im a bigshot" talker
never said i wasnt starstruck, just said i am not starstruck anymore by a celebrity, just because they are a celebrity. My first trip, i thought it was cool to be playing black jack with a B or C lister, sure. My point is/was seeing famous people that are pricks made me not give a crap about their "celebrity"

How exactly would i "seek them out" ?? see someone, ask for a pic? sure, did it to Matt Damon a month ago. he was playing roulette at a table next to me when i was playing black jack at Aria. didnt recognize him at first, wasnt even gonna bother him but someone else got a pic and he seemed cool, so i said what the hell. "dumb luck" yeah sometimes, like when Ray Romano sat next to me in my first ever poker tourney for an hour or two.


Some people might think its a brag or something, wanna hate, but what the heck is there to brag about? ran into someone famous, and i am sharing it.
I partially wrote this for me to go back and reflect on one day and dont need a bunch of trolling. For the people that know me, they know that crap just happens to me, all kinds of crap. more bad than good and mostly due to a lot of alcohol
