I'll finish the whole report for that week. I was drunk last night when i posted the other crap. I'm not going to drink til my next Vegas trip probably.

Since you guys seem to enjoy the stories, and it hasn't turned into a trollfest, screw it I will do cliff notes on most of my trips I can remember.

my first trip to Vegas was in march 2005. i went with a girl and plans were to hang with her 3 days, then spend one night by myself. thought this may be the only time i go so i wanted to stay somewhere nice. I contemplated over and over between venetian and bellagio (even considered hard rock, thank goodness didnt go there) with finally deciding on Bellagio. looking back now, what a fateful choice that was. still making a difference in my life today with all the times i had, friends i made there that i still have.
Had a good time with her but when she left was when i got crazy lol. I had lost a bunch on black jack so the host had told me i could stay there comped as long as i wanted. i ended up staying around 9 nights i think. after she left i was playing black jack and got kinda drunk. i am a happy drunk and love to laugh, cut up with people. 2 guys sit down at my table and i recognize one of em but couldnt place it. ended up being Jeremy Sisto, i knew him from the movie Clueless and a few others. i made friends with those guys and hung with em that night and the next two. Jeremy was on a show called six feet under at the time. i had never seen it but a lot of women seemed to know him and love him. it was very cool seeing all that. Jeremy and his friends were really cool. we played a lot of poker, black jack, hit the bars a lot.

this trip was the first time i had ever seen a hooker. it baffled me because the bellagio at the time had the most sophisticated and beautiful hookers that looked like the girl next door. they did not fit the stereotype i had a for a hooker at all. I even got fooled and thought i was just very charming to this one very fine girl, thought i was doing great with her lol. (see my screen name..."you're a hooker? i just thought i was doing great with you") I have many crazy stories through the years with all that stuff but i am gonna leave that and the boobie bar visits out of this TR altogether just in case someone finds it.
I had lost every single day, lost a lot. lost so much i was very depressed by around day 7. i had booked my flight for sunday but i was so drained i was trying to leave saturday evening. casino host told me to go to vip services room at bellagio and i could use a laptop there. This is the room where people in big suites go to check in. its very nice, at the time they had a bar where you poured your own drinks. they had chocolate covered strawberries, nice crap like that. i was sitting on the couch, depressed then the football coach Herm Edwards and his wife walk in. we were the only ones in there, so i spoke, he was very cool. he said what you doing on the computer? i told him this town had beat me like a drum. i was broke and trying to go home a night early. john lynch also walked in later, we cut up a while. Herm said you said you from North Carolina? coach John Fox is out there shooting craps, hes my buddy, tell him i sent you over there and see if your luck doesnt change. i said why not, closed the laptop and went to play craps, buying in for 1k.

Coach Fox was awesome. I was standing beside him at the table, we were both drinking, having a good time, but losing. noone was hitting any points. the dice came around to me and i said no, give em to coach, my luck sucks. Coach said Bull**** coach is putting you in at quarterback, give em a toss. i hit the first point, coach gave me a big high five and said now thats a touchdown pass! i had a big ole grin on me then. Hit the next 4 or 5 points and the table was going nuts. to this day i do not think i had ever tossed the dice that well. Coach called two different friends of mine on the phone, left voice messages saying"where you at ? this is coach Fox, me and Slim are in Vegas gambling, drinking, lusting over these hot waitresses" I remember the guys next to me saying that is so fu***** cool. we played together about two and a half hours. it was a great time. i got a pic with him and Herm Edwards's son.

By the time we were done with craps, i had turned my 1k to about 3k. i thought i might as well go to black jack, try to make a little of my money back. I do not even wanna say how much i was down for the trip, embarrassing. i ended up staying out the entire night and had the best run of my life gambling by far. about 6am i started seeing all these nfl people walk by. they were all there for a golf tournament and were heading to play that morning. waren sapp walked by, asked nicely to get a pic, he was a jerk. i was hammered and Dan Diedorf walks by, stops near the black jack table and was waiting for someone. noone else was anywhere in site other than dealers. I asked Dan if i could get a pic, he said yeah, but i dont know whos gonna take it. i saw a guy in the far distance walking towards us and said that guy down there can. as the guy walked closer it was clear that the guy was michael strahan. dan laughed and said i dont think this guy is gonna take it haha. i asked michael, hey man can you take a pic? he said naw man im late, aint got time to be in no pictures. i said no, i just want you to take it of me and Dan, not be in it, handed him the camera. they both laughed, strahan said come on, held up the camera with his long arms and took a selfie of all of us. i was very drunk.



my flight was around 10am and i was pushing it to the last minute. i was wired from winning all my money back and close to even for the entire trip, just couldnt stop playing. i went to the room, got my bags and in true degenerate fashion, just couldnt get past those black jack tables. i figured i was about 500 from being even for the trip and wanted to get there. parked my bags by the table, started losing of course, was down big. i was at that table close to an hour then i finally went on a run. got back even and probably up several thousand for the trip. rushed away from the table to the valet, step out and see the line is a mile long, no way i would catch my flight. i went to the people at the beginning of the line, asked if they were going to the airport. said yes, i said i will pay for the cab if i can ride with you. they were glad to. i jogged the whole time and barely made the flight. i had been wide open all night and had planned on sleeping on the way home. after winning all my money back i was too wired and that was not happening. i had a ton of cash in my bag and was worried about security. they didnt say a thing. that flight home i had a grin you couldnt wipe off with a brillo pad. i watched the movie Mystic River during the flight, pretty good. I had let my first time around 24 hour gambling and booze get out of control that week. i had spent 8 nights going back to the room sick from gambling losses, i still was a having a great time but the loss depression was awful until that last night. when i had won all that money back it was one of the best feelings in the world..... relief
I have always been very smart with money, started investing constantly since i was 16, stocks, mutuals, municipal bonds but with gambling i get carried away. i should have let that trip teach me a lesson but of course it didnt haha. i had a great time, saw a different part of the world, saw more celebrities than i can count, made some great friends, ate great food and even made some money. it was a great trip and i was hooked on Vegas, I would be back soon.

This is now a 5 star thread with a chance to be an alltime great.

ha! hes cool with it. we talked a lot about all that during breakfast, hearing the same crap over and over, taking so many pics with people. he says at times it gets old, people wanting pics while hes eating and stuff but if someone says they are a fan of the show or whatnot, hes never gonna tell anyone no. Victory! was the last line in the movie before the credits rolled and had a pause on Kevin's excited face. i dont think that line would ever get old for me.

ha, thanks man. the love on here has inspired me to write more. not a brag or anything like that but you aint seen nothing yet. one of my friends from home has to be one of the most outrageous, funniest drunks in the world. everyone always said he needed his own reality show. he went with me on the next trip i will write about and several others. heading out for the night but will probly start back tomorrow, kinda fun rekindling all these trips

I gambled pretty heavy on my first trip so afterwards had offers to come back RFB (room, food, beverage comped) I'm not crazy about watching poker on tv now but did a lot during 2005 with everyone else. I wanted to go during the WSOP main event and check it out. The host said she would hook me up with a nice sized, corner salon suite. My best friend Jeremy was going with me and about a week before the trip we ran into a friend I grew up with but didnt hang out with very often at the time. Every time i had seen the guy since high school he was always getting thrown out of a bar, but he was absolutely hilarious. Jeremy and I were kinda buzzed at a concert and told him we were going to Vegas, he said I wanna go and I said sure, kinda just thinking no way it pans out. When i sobered and hes calling excited and serious about going I became terrified. I told Jeremy, you just have no idea how wild this guy can get. there is no way to describe this guy 10 years ago before he calmed down a bit. We discussed it and said, well we might get into trouble but it won't be boring, screw it.

I have never seen even one celebrity in Vegas.

Harris (crazy guy) was kind of skeptical that we were inviting him to stay in a suite, food and beverage comped. part of him thought wee werent gonna show at the airport i think. we were a little late, but when he saw us he yelled yeahhhhh. and was very excited. we checked into the room, headed over to Rio. Harris played his first cash poker game, had the table dying laughing. one hand he had AK high after the river. he went all in, stood up like he was on tv, guy calls with AK high. he left that table with nothing obv. we came back to Bellagio, good black jack session, called it a night

next day we went to Rio to check out WSOP it was really cool back then with lots of models hired to promote online poker sites everywhere. I had bet online for Daniel Negraneu to win it all at like 500-1. printed the betting ticket and got him to autograph it. he didnt do well. we came back to Bellagio, I saw Jeremy, Harris hitting on some girl, walked up and it was an actress i recognized, Essence Atkins. she was very nice.

That day at WSOP, they had gotten some invites to a party Doyle Brunson was hosting to promote his book or something. the drinks were free and there were a lot of girls.



We met these hot girls, a brunette and a blonde that was really really hot. They talked em into going back to the Bellagio with us, we rode in their car. I split up from everyone for a little while, played b jack, won a good amount. I came to their table and had a lot of chips. When i sat down with the 2 girls and my friends, the blonde saw my chips, and all of a sudden she was sitting next to me lol. Jeremy is the one who the girls always flock to, so i knew she was gold digging, but i didnt care and had fun with it.
Oh, i forgot at some point Harris went into Bobbys room at Bellagio when toby maguire, other actors and pro poker players were in there, walked around the table and yelled" which one of yall boys wanna lose some money?" it was hilarious

I walked around with the blonde and asked if she wanted to go see spider man, she really wanted to so we went into bobbys room and sat down in some lounge chairs, had a drink and left. We went back to the black jack table with her friend and here comes the poker guy Gus Hansen, he had followed us from bobbys room. he had 2 racks of chips, mostly cranberries. looked close to a million, just toting em around in racks around the casino. Gotta blur her out of the pic, sorry

The 2 girls, me and gus went and shot craps. this old man started rolling and man was he killin it. gus went pretty big on every number and the old man rolled forever. I thought he had to roll a 7 soon, so i pulled all mine and took the winnings. Gus kept going and made a killing. The blonde kept saying to us that if she was gonna be able to hang out late, she was gonna miss work tomorrow and she made 300 a day doing promos, needed 300 to stay out. I had a large amount of money on me, couldnt say i didnt have it, i just couldn't bring myself to give it to her out of principle even though it was half a hand of black jack that night. the girl really was not a hooker though. i had seen her doing promos earlier that day, she was just doing what a lot girls do in vegas i guess. She saw me win a whole lot at black jack later and fussed at me for not giving her 300. we had made out on 3 occasions earlier and she reminded me of that. I'm like what? you want 100 a kiss? Later on we all said we should have just given her 300. she was mad and went home cause she had to work the next day, couldnt flake cause she needed the money.
Gus was really cool to me, acted like my best friend when she was around/thought i was good friends with her, but when i saw him later on he acted like he didnt know me. there is an old quote: you can judge the true character of a man by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him. screw him
