Lmao never had this experience at the Diamond lounge bar. The depressing part of the DL is the herd of geriatrics going through the buffet line and sitting at the tables. Everyone at the bar is there to get loaded and have a great time.
Had a buddy who was having a bachelor party in Vegas a couple years back and him and his dad flew in a day early along with me. Convinced the host at the Paris diamond lounge to let both my guests in as it was their first time in Vegas. We sat at the bar and got excellent service by the awesome bartenders there for at least three hours. Demolished at least 50 chicken wings between the three of us and countless bourbons, top shelf margaritas, and vodka Red Bulls while watching hockey and basketball.
Easily one of my favorite Vegas memories over the many trips I’ve taken in the past ten years. Neither guy is a big gambler so giving them that experience for $0 +tip was pretty great. Founders card diamond paid for itself that one afternoon.
Rest of the trip I would grab one of the ~12 guys away from the group and go hit up the diamond lounge and treat them to a similar experience for a shorter period of time. Was tons of fun.
Anyway this is long winded way of saying different strokes for different folks. If you say diamond is pointless or diamond lounge access is worthless you’re not being truthful if not only talking about yourself.
