Hey everybody! WSOP is here, thousands of poker players are here to take their shot. Dreams will come true, dreams will be crushed. Hookers will be hunted and tricks will be rolled.

What do you like to do away from the table? I'm thinking off strip outdoor type things, but am open to all. I'll start:

Kayak/Boating at Willow Beach

Hike Red Rocks

Cliff jumping at Nelson's Landing

Go see Mac King at Harrah's. It's cheap and it's a good show. Also try Blue Man Group.

Willow Beach is South of Lake Mead. Nelson’s Landing is South of Willow Beach, close to Nelson Ghost Town.

There’s also a mine that you can visit, but no idea if it’s worth it.

a lot of excellent restaurants off Strip .... there is a good Las Vegas Dining thread on 2+2 which is a valuable resource....

Visit 2+2 offices and take Mason to lunch,

visit a recreational marijuana dispensary, then chill anywhere, perhaps a Las Vegas 51s game ?

ride a bicycle to/from the Rio (just kidding).

It's the exact same question, who cares if it is old? What if everyone who asked about a fine-dining restaurant started their own thread? Even if the suggestions were outdated, it's the best place to ask for current suggestions.

Go downtown to El Cortez - on the second floor they have preserved some old hotel rooms so you can see what the high rollers got in the 40's.

If you have a car Boulder Dam or Death Valley are worth the drive.

For the new/uncertified, one can do a Discover Scuba Dive through several companies at different LV locations. No need to be a great swimmer or super fit. Something everyone should try IMO.
