Dude, you got me here. So where are you? The podium is not filled, altough there is a game in Bobby's so there is some bluffing potential there

We headed over to the Wynn where I played like a fish and ended up with this stack after getting in 77 on K876dd vs 45o:

Where are you guys at now?

I'm at Aria. Too lazy to go anywhere else at the moment. Rumour is Wortels got hold of H&B after winning the 50 under bet on Kansas vs. Denver...

Confirmed on the win. Yup yup! Running like the sun, winning all the moneyz with the sportsbet.

Now running around looking for the H&B. Anyone with hints, please post under your real name, so realiability can be determined. By myself as well as other to be undisclosed agencies.

I just love to play blind vs blind spots. Ranges are wide, people tend to get creative and I get to play one more important hand in an otherwise slow live environment.

A Day at the Wynn

Today I made my way to the Wynn early after breakfast and a quick checkup on the Wortels/LAG combo at the Aria. LAG was sporting his signature castlestack as usual so I figured it was time to dodge his luckbox and look for other games. I still can't get why people are still playing at Aria while these two terrorists are around.

Well, on to my story. I got into a very good looking main game at Wynn and started off by ordering some nitty comped burger from ZooZa Crackers and buying in light for a grand.

After a while of nitting it up and picking up reads I got the engine started. Flopped a set of fours in a family pot on K34 and got paid big by 65 in the end. Caught a big riverbluff on a busted draw on 468TA with T4 and got a lot of clean thin value with weakish TPs even multiway. The game started to become better and better with more and more people chiming in juicing the game up.

My current stack:

The game is also great fun as everyone has started drinking now and is already giving eqch other nicknames. Awesome for a tuesday afternoon, let's see how long this fun ride lasts.

End of story:

Mission accomplished, mothership stardestroyer completed.

Unfortunately the game broke right after more mustmove earplug grinders joined the table, so the fleet is taking off in search of new galaxies.

I approve this chipstack. Well done, nicely stacked. Still too many blacks though imo. Beginners mistake, you'll get there

Agreed on breaking the table when the earplug grinders arrive also! Those people are just no fun. (Me is ducking...)

@LAG: Thanks for the free chipporn content, trying to learn from the best

@Wortels: Headphones are even worse so I guess you're still in a grey area :P

Grinded at the Wynn all day yesterday, game was really good. Didn't feel all that well and still have some stomach issues. Tried to get a list of garlic free food from the foodrunner (I'm allergic which sucks big time), here's what I could choose from:

Aggus Burger
Fries
Turkey Sandwich

Menogusta.

Short stories from the Wynn #3
by xflixx

(I consider #1 to be the one where I refused to chop and #2 was the one where I correctly herofolded 47 on 658 cause villain had 97 written all over his face)

While waiting for my 2/5 seat I was donking around at 1/3 today. Got in Kings vs Aces preflop for 300 and earned a "Why don't you have Aces? You're supposed to be good enough to lay that down!"

Sry bud, got swamped at the Caesars 2/5 game yesterday night. Hope you had fun! Will come over to Aria this weekend though.

Update

Got my ass handed to me yesterday at Caesars. It was a great game with good action so I bought in for a grand, lost a couple hundreds flipping in some standard spots against shorties, then lost a huge pot close to 2k against a recreational guy with KJ on KJ54hh when he had 55. I had mistakenly excluded that from his range as he had opened pre and I didnt have the K. That pot stung a little, but in hindsight I'm still okay stacking off seeing the other weird stuff he did at that table prior to the hand.

Down 1,5k I called it a night and am now sitting in the B for a couple of hopefully crazy weekend sessions.

To fit the current mood of my run it's raining cats and dogs here atm, weird to see the same kind fo weather we currently have in Germany:

To finish this post on a good note I got to meet so many nice and intersting people here. Locals, grinders from Hungary, Switzerland and even Japan. Got involved in so many cool conversations, I really enjoy my time away from the online tables here a lot.

If any other LVL are around say Hi if you see me around.

Fun playing with you.

PS: just because you have position doesn't mean I won't go crazy!

Message me when you're back for Christmas. I live here and unfortunately play this game too much. BTW I flipped with jacks because I knew the guy couldn't have QQ, KK or AA

Game broke pretty early.

Got a lot of it back. Played pretty aggro and took some high variance lines as I have the ability to do that.

TGIF!

Yesterday I changed locations a lot as the town and the tables got busier for the weekend.

Started out at the Wynn as always, but the game wasnt good at all. Booked a small profit and left for the B where I got into a very nitty game that allowed me to run up my stack to 800 w/o any showdowns. Didn't feel like continuing it as there should be better games out there on a friday night.

Bravo showed a 2/5 at PH so I headed across the street and jumped into a great seat with direct position on a guy who played almost every hand.

First confrontation with him I raised his flop donk on AT8rb with AK, he snapcalled and check/shoved my 120 bet insta AI for 300 more. I looked at him and he was supercalm while talking to his wife who was sitting right behind him. I figured him to be superstrong so I folded.

Caught him in the next spot when I isolated him again, backdoored into a flush and he bluffed into me with a busted gutshot for a huge chunk of his stack.

After he left and seats filled up with more and more grinders we decided to join the friday night Mirage crew for their superfriendly and supersplashy homegame. I always thought of it as the place for older and nittier people, but this 2/5 was quite the opposite.

Danceforme was splashing it up a lot, I got 3-bet pre like we were playing 6-max online cash. But there were also a couple of soft spots at the table, hitting big in the beginning. My buddy and me didnt get any of that and we left the game early as we got really tired. Booked a win close to 2 stacks for the day.

Fun fact: Mirage replaced its blue chips that caused your fingers to go blue with yellow $1s that look a bit like 1ks from far away.

Played 2/5 exclusively yesterday so I won back roughly 2/3rds of the losses from the day before.

They already made the change half a year ago, I saw these yellow chips on my trip in June, but only in the poker room, at the casino cage they still had the old blue ones.

Do you know if these chips are still "poker only" or if they are also available at the cage? Still looking for new chips in my chip collection
