It is so funny how people always start these threads and never follow through with them. We had the kid with the pit problem who played at Cherokee, the couple that was moving to Vegas, and this guy.

maybe they dont want the embarrassment ive put up with over all the years for always being so honest in my online blog. all the negative remarks i hear there and twitter each day most people wouldnt be able to put up with.

You know what probably happened is he went busto at his local casino two months ago and realized he has no poker game. He probably has new dreams of entering a spelling bee or something now.

Man, these threads seem to always disappoint (Matt Moore excluded), just like in the goals and challenges people always seem to start out full of piss and vinegar and end up doing next to nothing and disappearing from the thread they started, looks like thats what happened here...

Just goes to show how much easier it is to start than finish, very few seem to have the tenacity and discipline to do what it takes to push the ball across the goal line.

After reading this thread for the first time in a while last night it felt good to book my plane ticket to Las Vegas ONE WAY TICKET BABY! Feels good to shake the naysayers. I have a roll of $2,154.00 and I get into Vegas at 4:05pm TODAY. I am officially off work for more than a month from my same job they have no more work at all for me now. I decided a few month ago I could not do this until I added a little more to my roll and took care of some health issues. But after a few set backs I am making my move my friend from Kansas City is dealing the series and told me (insisted) I could crash with him until mid July. I will have a laptop with my and I will do my best to update this everyday as I go. But overall I feel really good about my timing with all the games going because of the series. But this is all for now I only got 4 hours of sleep last night and have tons of s*** to do today but I will give updates.

Off to Vegas with $2154. Nope can't see anything going wrong.

dude said he had a place to stay. I don't know why you're hating on this so much. sure, it's incredibly likely he'll fail (although less likely if he doesn't have to worry about housing) but if he knows that, isn't leaving behind any responsibilities, doesn't have any risk of becoming homeless, and has a place to stay back home for free when this does fail, I don't really see why it's a bad idea. kid miiiiight succeed and make some money, or he has a good story and ends up where he started $2k lighter
