Your dismissal of Fleury's on-ice abilities, off the ice attitude, and general leadership qualities for a team that had none to start the season is lost on those of us who watched this team game in and game out the entire season.
As a Pens fan, I am also used to the Fleury apologists coming out when the season is over. Giving up 20 goals in 5 games is a tough for any offense to overcome.
If you search any of the Penguin forums from playoff losses of years gone by you will see the exact same list of excuses:
1. He played so well to get us there
2. Defense let him down
3. Other team was just better
The guy **** the bed when you needed him most, get used to it.
Keep in mind, I was rooting for you.
