Nobody cares about other people’s money, especially if there is risk of getting a bullet. If suspect is hit, it can be wrapped up quickly. If a cop is hit, dear lord. Huge investigation. An innocent bystander. They are getting millions. It better be an absolute certainty that there was no other choice than using a gun.

Safest way is to let them walk and try your best to capture them outside.

Robbery by definition involves force or the thread of force. Aggravated robbery is obv. a serious crime but if you needed proof how little police cared if nobody is injured or killed, this is a perfect example.

The casino also doesn’t care about the money, they are only worried about bad PR and would like for everybody to forget about it ASAP.

I just saw she was caught as well on fox news, was only a matter of time with that LOL getaway car. I was semi joking calling her a grandma but i mean if she can walk in and do it anyone pretty much can at this point.

I get they dont want customers seeing metal detectors at the doors thinking its unsafe but times are changing and for the worse compared to when i first moved here. Ive never felt unsafe at all in a vegas casino and ive lived here for 11 years but i mean at some point they have to do something or its only going to continue to get worse imo. Sure it wouldnt stop every single thing from happening but it would definitely prevent some people just strolling in with guns.

This is the second time someone was caught in one of these recent robberies.

It's funny because there is almost ALWAYS a guard standing directly next to the cage at the count room door way. Not that those fat basterds would do anything anyway.

I can understand the lack of FBI involvement since it is not a chartered bank or anything like that, but the total number across the country has no bearing in what an agency gets involved with.

Even liberal sanctuary cities like Houston investigate aggravated robbery cases (and with a gun, this IS an aggravated crime even if no bullets were fired and even if the gun is unloaded). I cannot imagine that Las Vegas would just say 'oh, its only a robbery...don't we have some hookers to go bust.'

It would also prevent people with lawfully owned and carried guns from coming in. AFAIK not all Strip casinos are disallowing legal carry. And if casinos are going to allow armed robberies with impunity, more people are going to be inclined to want to protect themselves.

If they don't, one of these days a robber will just blast an employee or patron anyway, because they tend to do that sort of thing. And/or an armed patron will blast the robber. It's past the point where casinos need to do something to discourage this behavior.

At Binion's once, (I may have been drinking) throwing the dice short of the back wall. Dealers weren't saying anything because I had bets with shoes down for them. Apparently that was rare in Binion's.

Pit boss walks by and tells me he will take the dice away if I keep throwing short. I give him my fair and unbiased opinion that he was not man enough to take the dice away from me. He picks up the phone and a security guard that looked like Lawrence Taylor's twin sweated me out of there. Mad dogging me the whole time.
