Years ago when I lived in Vegas, two of three Christmas days were white. One it snowed, the other it hailed but covered the ground white. No joke on the white Christmas or on the hail when it comes down out there!

6+ hours of sleep, a personal record of some kind.

However, need to talk about the Encore pillows. Two are huge and unusable, the others are far too flimsy. Bed is A+ though.

Currently in a horrific 2/5, pretty sure me and one other guy are the only non pros.

Made $40 in that awful game, two semi interesting spots:

I open JJ to 15, 4 calls, obviously good SB 3! to 115. Looks really fishy but I elect to flat 600 effective (after the call), heads up. Flop 985 with a flush draw he continues for 150, I ship, he tank folds.

Same villain a few mins later, a few limps, button raises to 25, I call SB with 66, 4 way flop of J42r, checks around. I lead 5 turn for 55, villain raises to 155. Seemed super bluffy but he’s guaranteed to continue on the river so I just folded.

Villain has AK prob and wasn't trying to steal when you had JJ; tank fold was just hollywooding; thats my guess.

Had to leave early to take care of something that came up out of nowhere. Back in a few weeks.

Encore refunded my remaining nights without me even asking (was a non refundable rate). Much appreciated.

Got everything sorted out, back to the promised land tomorrow morning.

Ammo:

Plan is to relax this trip, hopefully mix in some spa time. Very excited for the NFL playoffs, but assume finding a seat at any sports book will be impossible. Encore, of course.

Sprung for first class: worth it. The extra space makes it so much more tolerable.

Uber Guy was pushing a dispensary stop hard, must get a kickback. Not my thing.

SW was excellent. I know it’s to be expected at this price point, but service was truly exceptional.

Shrimp Cocktail (8/10): some nice kick in the sauce.

Filet medium rare (8/10), mashed potatoes (7/10), mushrooms (9/10):

About $150 with tip. Time to grind.

SW looks tasty. I would like to try it again. Last time there, about 8 years ago, I was very underwhelmed. They didn’t have a dry aged ribeye the night I was there. Maybe they will next time.

-900 in a super fun 2/5 game. 3-4 LAG pros, very enjoyable time. The good LAGs were fun, lots of jokes and exactly how pros should act. Will try to post some hands tomorrow.

Wynn sports book won’t take teasers in the NFL playoffs! WTF.
