I would actually love to spend more time in Veg myself. So good for you op for having the courage to do what you want to do. Because that's what it sometimes takes to break out of the comfort of conformity.

Everything's been covered, you're right.
Once again, I should have kept my mouth shut.

Carry on good people.

Didn't mean it as you should not enjoy the topic

I would venture to say you have as much chance of being unsafe in a Vegas motel room as in a car. Also take into account the disgusting unclean options like Fremont Street or motel 6 and the people in the parking lots at those motels .

Sleeping in the South Point parking lot was very peaceful and I was never once tired the next day for lack of sleep. Again it's a choice not something I had to do . You guys need to lighten up a bit . Thousands of people sleep in there cars in Walmart parking lots across the country every night.

"Neil Gandler called his car home. The 42-year-old Californian was a vagabond by choice, traveling from town to town, boasting a life of modesty, his friends say..."

"The 19-year-old woman facing charges — including murder — in the killing of a man in the parking lot of a 24 Hour Fitness laid out the details for police, according to the arrest report.

On Jan. 2, police arrested Megan Hippie, and 27-year-old Kyle Staats.

They are accused of robbing and killing 42-year-old Neil Brian Gandler of Palo Alto, California who was apparently sleeping in his car in the parking lot of the fitness center at Rainbow Boulevard and Alta Drive.

Hippie told police that she and Staats were out committing auto burglaries in the early morning hours of Dec. 29 when they came across Gandler sleeping in his car.

According to the arrest report, Staats got out of the car with a gun in his hand and knocked on Gandler’s window. Hippie said she heard him (Gandler) say, “Don’t do it,” and moments later she heard a gunshot."

Big difference between rainbow and Alta and the South point parking lot that has 24 hours roving security and cameras . Point taken but when it's your time I guess it's your time no matter what parking lot you are in. I'm sure I could research people being murdered in Vegas hotels and find more articles than people killed in Vegas sleeping in there vehicles.

I’m pretty sure that over the last 10 years, the number of people murdered while sleeping in their car in Las Vegas is significantly lower than the number of people who have been murdered at music festivals in the city. Should we agree that attending music festivals is more dangerous than sleeping in your car?

Just providing a couple links without context doesn’t really help prove a point. There aren’t many beaches in the world where the risk of getting injured in a shark attack is higher than the risk of getting injured in a car accident on the drive to the beach. Every shark bite is going to make it to the news. The majority of car accidents won’t.

Quality content . Good take . Gzesh wants to prove sleeping in a car is unsafe . You just proved everything is unsafe .

Sleeping in a car is probably safer than sleeping on the street.

But how often do you find a dead hooker under your car seat?

If your going to pay to park . Off site airport parking might be best. Again there are plenty of places for free you can park and sleep safely. Parking behind the Linq is not a good idea IMO

I don’t think there is a parking lot behind the Linq anymore.

The new Caesars Forum convention center has used up all of the space behind the wheel at least for now.

I would not be parking anywhere on the strip. Which is why I suggested the South Point Lot. Also I would not park in a garage for the sole purpose of inhaling exhaust fumes . Stick to the outskirts of the strip and definitely do not park anywhere downtown or North Las Vegas. There has been plenty of quality information posted here for you to sort through.

The linq has both a parking lot behind it and a parking garage. Both pay to park but free with platinum or diamond CET rewards card.

I think all of the remaining parking pictured is employee parking, but I could be wrong.

Winnick Ave is no longer there right now.

It’s a cl@$terf**k over there at the moment.

Sleeping in your car in vegas is def not safe lol. I'm surprised they allow these lots full of car campers. Someone should call cops, unless it's like a designated place like walmart parking lot. Recently in the lot I park at for work someone has been sleeping in their car in a beater mini van, going so far as to park right next to my vehicle to conceal themselves. It's really obnoxious.

Sleeping in your car in vegas is def VERY safe lol. I'm surprised they DON'T ENCOURAGE these lots full of car campers MORE OFTEN AND IN MORE PLACES. NO ONE should call cops, ESPECIALLY WHEN it's like a designated place like walmart parking lot OR CASINO PARKING LOT WITH 24/7 SECURITY. Recently in the lot I park at for work someone has been sleeping in their car in a CLEAN HONDA ACCORD, going so far as to park right next to my vehicle BECAUSE THE PARKING SPACE WAS AVAILABLE. It's really A PERSONAL PREFERENCE/DECISION.

It's funny how some people think their opinion should be the law. While I don't think my option is more right, it at least gives people the option to sleep in their car or not sleep in their car depending on what they decide instead of forbidding EVERYONE from doing something because I don't like it, don't know about it, am afraid to do it, or just am closed minded.
