Seven Stars player here in a unique situation. Need Advice (sorry for the long winded story, so I'm just gonna try to spit out the details).

2019
I live in NJ so the majority of my play is in Atlantic City. I had to work out in Vegas during the months of June and September and I was able get most of my rooms comped (during the week) at Total Reward properties based on my previous play. During the month of June I dropped around 7k in slots. In September I barely played because there was an issue with a reservation that was poorly handled so I decided I wasn't going to reward Total Rewards with my play.

I ended up earning Seven Stars later in the year from my play in Atlantic City.

2020
The pandemic happened. I did not go to any land casinos in Atlantic City or Las Vegas, however I did put in a heavy amount of play online in slots. I used WSOP online (owned by Caesars) which is linked to my total rewards players card. In total for the year I wagered 1.2 million in slots on their site.

Now had there been no pandemic and this play was at land casinos I would have earned the following:

High Seven Stars card (I would have earned roughly 240,000 tier points, would of obv pushed to 250,000 tier points to achieve the next level)
Comped rooms any night of the week
Slot dollars
$2,000 in Comps from play
Seven Star benefits. Plus 250k tier perks
Food comps.
etc.

That same exact play online earned me the following:

only 75,000 tier pts (Sadly online is 16:1 tier credits instead of 5:1 at a land casino.)
I may have received 200 bucs in total kickback
NOTHING ELSE

Apparently playing online holds zero weight. I can not get any rooms and I'm basically being treated as a player who never stepped foot on their property.

Fast Forward to today. I just tried to book my Seven Star Retreat at Caesars Palace Las Vegas but some higher up is blocking my reservations. I found out that apparently Vegas is not happy about me not playing back in Sept 2019. Saying my comps exceeded my play.

(Not sure how they even factored that because I calculated how much it would have cost if I paid for the rooms during both trips in June and September it was no more than 3k in total and I dropped 7k alone in June.)

I spoke with my host (who is oddly located in Vegas when my dominant property is AC) and she was able to book my seven star retreat, but only at Flamingo. Again referring back to my 2019 play.


I understand each market is different but during these current circumstances exceptions need to be made. Players should be rewarded for showing their loyalty during this pandemic instead of being punished.

I feel there should be no reason why I can't book my Seven star retreat at Caesars and my online play should be treated equivalent to land casino play during 2020 since many didn't feel comfortable going to a Casino in person or even playing at all.

Disregarding your online play their actions are unremarkable. Extended low play/no play is going to bork your offers.

Today you earn 1 tier/$10 wagered on online slots vs 1 tier/$5 wagered live. This seems fair since online slots have less than half the house edge of their live counterparts. The tier earning rate was apparently less when you played.

You also earn reward credits for online play at the same rate. So your 1.2m in online slot play would today be worth $1,200 in RC along with 120k tier points. Almost 7* but not quite.

It sounds like they've improved the earn rates for online play.

Regarding lack of crossover between online play and live offers, that is pretty universal across all companies. Slam Borgata online and you'll be lucky to get online VIP to get you a single comped room night. At least with CZR you can get diamond online and get lounge access and no resort fees.

It's my strong impression than these companies have their B&M and online gaming completely separated. Maybe as online gaming matures and enters more markets we'll see more crossover.

Yeah they just recently changed from 1 tier/$16 wagered to 1/10.

Is the RC the same rate for online slots? I feel like it was terrible. After a long session I would have accumulated like 5 bucs. A night of poker and you could earn $50-100.

Idk I've put in far less play with Borgata online and have gotten much more with the VIP host. Hardrock online I've gotten free rooms and slot play with even less.

You would think they would say This player played x amount online. Lets get him in here so he gives us that play. Especially with the pandemic, that online play was forced by it otherwise most of it would of went to their land casino and there would be no issue. Also from a player perspective what's the difference if I play your slot online in my home or in casino? My money still all goes to the same place, 1 Caesars Palace Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89109.

Just seems like a slap in the face to put in all that play and its not even looked at or factored in for comps.

Casinos have gotten tighter with rewards as their profits have taken a beaten from buffets to tables to slots.

I know its counterintuitive for them to treat their loyal players like that but it is what it is.

I hope they get it together as these comps are one of the few reasons people even bother to come back.

Alot of my trips wouldnt have happened if it hadnt been for comps.

I hear you. I just think CZR B&M marketing and hosts have no knowledge of your online play. I wouldn't be shocked if a brand new player who earned 7* online only called to book their 7* trip and was told "LOL your lifetime theo is $0 bro, gtfo".

Possible, though Total Rewards gets worse and worse each year. Def not worth the headache and hassle jumping through hoops to get benefits you earned.

TR was heading down well before merger and covid. Diamond means basically nothing now. Plus is meh. Elite is the old diamond and even seven stars isn’t what it was a few years ago.

What is the retreat and Flamingo must be a terrible location to do it...
I got Seven Stars this year and it sucks cause they mostly discontinued the convenience stuff like get to the head of food lines and merged it with Diamond or just nothing. I went to Burger at PH and they had a bunch of reservations and wouldn't even seat me.

The only upside so far is I get to the top on poker waiting lists and the 500 food credit.

Also no change in my rooms. Same rooms as always. They say some BS about automatic upgrades but that never happened yet.

Running into some similar issues now trying to book my Seven Stars retreat to Atlantic City.

In 2020 I had booked a Seven Stars Retreat that got cancelled due to Covid. Apparently the host that I booked the trip through must have gotten furloughed because he hasn't responded to phone calls or emails in over a year now. Today I got in touch with a host on duty at Caesars Atlantic City to try to book a retreat for this year, and I'm having some difficulties.

It seems last year's cancelled trip wasn't cancelled properly so she has to speak to a few people to get it switched on in the system, but she did make a point of harassing me about some very short hit and run trips here locally. Like a recent one night stay at Planet Hollywood where we put in zero play, and only booked the room so we could drink a lot and not drive home till the morning.

Hey, I'm fine if you stop offering me free rooms, in fact I've come to expect it.

But don't go advertising the benefits of reaching Seven Stars, and then tell me that I don't qualify for those benefits now that I've hit that card level.

I'm obviously not planning to try and reach Seven Stars again during this year, since they extended it out due to Covid. It would be more beneficial to let it expire, then attempt to get it again early in 2022 to get the full benefit. But given how much they keep downgrading things, I just can't see putting in the play for that next year either.

Why do you think letting it expire and then try to earn in 2022 is better? If you earn it in 2021 you will get the full benefits for all of 2022. Also as a seven you should earn tc faster. But f true then letting expire will make it harder to earn seven in 2022.

I guess if you let it expire and n 2021 and then earn early in 2022 you can effectively earn it once for twenty months

Generally, if you earn a new status you get it till the end of the current gaming year and all of the next year. You'll also get the yearly rewards in both years.

This year is a little weird, because they extended the statuses an extra year due to covid, with the goal of giving you more time to use the rewards you earned. It didn't grant you an extra Retreat, or $500 dining credit, so those could still be earned again for both years. I really don't think I could fit in a second retreat this year though. The extended status does give me access to this year's Signature Events, and if the lounges ever re-open out here, the +3 guests will be really nice again.

Overall, I feel like there's more value in attempting to regain Seven Stars in February of 2022. But like I said, with Caesars continued devaluation of Seven Stars, which looks to get worse under El Dorado management, it's probably not going to be worth it.

Bump. Running into what I assume will be a similar issue for accruing tier credits solely via online sportsbetting.

Back in October I realized the new conversion from William Hill sportsbook to Caesars means I could accrue tier credits from betting sports online in Iowa. It took me a month to get to the 150k tier credits, and I should have close to 300k TC and 350k RCs by the time my trip rolls around next month.

Despite blowing past the seven stars tier credit minimum, I have not gotten an invite to seven stars, and have been unable to contact anyone regarding it. Caesars e-mail support says to contact my host. When I tell them I don't have a host, they say if my play warrants a host one will reach out to me. Tried calling Planet Hollywood directly. Keep getting forwarded to an automated message that says to use e-mail support. Even submitted a credit application for a 25k LOC to see if that got the phones ringing. Nothing.

So I guess this is a long-winded way of asking, is there any hope of 7 stars? It's not a huge deal since I am accruing reward credits to comp myself at the rate of $500/week which is way beyond my modest Vegas needs. It would be nice to get that $1,200 airfare credit though.

is there a caesars property anywhere near you that you could go in and talk to someone?

fwiw i know 1 person who got over 150k tc from wsop and 1 from will hill and neither was given 7 stars

you should have the diamond tier at 75 k that at least gets you 600 in airfare credit to vegas

No, but I will be at Planet Hollywood next week. I did get diamond elite and got a free flight. Just seems odd that they would use some metric like tier credits, adjust the earn rate to normalize for the value of each game, then still have some discrepancy as to its true value.

Update, just got upgraded to seven stars last night. A few people I know in my situation all got upgraded on the same day, so I am guessing some system wide update to status.
