Thanks man! yeah believe it or not the thing that is the least attractive to me is the Vegas poker scene. Where I live now the games are an all you can win buffet. Gonna be hard to adjust to people who are actively paying attention to my moves and figuring out my playing style. thats for sure.

Sounds like you might be better off staying put and having an excuse, and maybe a free place to stay, to go visit Vegas a couple three times a year.

Im usually as (quietly) doubtful of these kinds of threads as anybody. But yeah, his whole family is here (and sound like they have employment connections) and he’s planning on continuing to work part-time, so this sounds lik a pretty low-risk and decent plan.

I've been out here for most of the month and have been to most of the major rooms playing $1/2. At this point I would recommend looking at the card rooms for locals on the weekdays and some of the Strip and Downtown rooms on the weekends. I've been to Aria twice but haven't played because the waitlist was longer than an hour on both trips.
