All right gents. Let's do this again, shall we? I'm staying at Mandalay Bay 6/14-6/20.

The primary purpose of this trip is to enjoy the Ward/Kovalev rematch which I will be attending (my first prize fight ever in Vegas by the way). Let's hope is a good one.

Not many firm plans for this trip otherwise, but I have a few fellas joining me who are all Vegas vets: my brother and a friend of his (of course) as well as an old college buddy.

I am fully aware that the WSOP is going on, but I don't have any plans to play any events, nor do I plan on hitting the RIO, but that may change.

What I can promise is regular updates, pictures and hopefully some decent wins. Otherwise all bets are off.

Got some new kicks today for the trip. Cole Haan is a client, so I'm a bit biased, but I'm excited about these. Light as a feather and should be nice and cool in the desert heat.

Looks like my money is going to be on Kovalev.

McGregor might be the loudest in MMA but I doubt he's the biggest star. Diaz beat him in his first fight and many, including me, think he beat him in the second one too.

Diaz is one of my favorite fighters because he's so much fun to watch. Had drinks with him last time I was in Vegas at Gem Bar at Aria. Nice guy (he was higher than a kite).

Not much to report today. Just chilling watching some sports at the sports book waiting on everyone to get in.

Also just figured out that a $100 I was given at Cosmo last time I was here is counterfeit. That's nice.

How do you know that's counterfeit and not just an old hundo?

None of the machines would accept it including the bill breaker. Did the pen test etc.

That's annoying. I had bills both new and old not be accepted by any of the machines- every time I just take it to a slot attendant or the cage and they happily exchange it for me. I'd assume the slot attendant route might be your best bet, since they won't give a **** (as long as the count of what they have on them at the end of shift is accurate, it's not their money).
