I feel similarly, or at least a version thereof. For me, it can more easily be summed up by the pros and cons of old/beat/downtown Vegas vs new/shiny/strip Vegas. Neither is perfect, and at times I want both (or none).
Old Vegas-
Pros- better gamble value, more "true" gamblers, people legit happy at winning 5$, little pretense or people just trying to be seen
Cons- real risk of food poisoning, more dangerous, tougher to get to, less eye candy, my parents hate it
New Vegas-
Pros- great food, shows, etc; opulence, basically safe, lots of beauty all around
Cons- obv rip offs left and right, tons of idiots just trying to be seen, tons of arrogant, annoying wealthy people
I guess my perfect casino would be a place with full pay VP machines as far as the eye can see, 100x odds on craps, 5 star restaurants and service, smack in the middle of the strip with ridiculously good looking yet humble women, that would be fully comped or 99$/night. Is that too much to ask?
