Really curious about shake shack. So far it has been 50% success when it comes to places to eat. In-N-Out was A++, Hash house a gogo was the biggest disappointment ever

On a completely unrelated note, just got home from the Venetian daily. 129 entries, 15 places paid. Got 17th, that does not pay. Time to rethink why I play tournament poker again..?

One last post from me tonight, although no degening, strippers or pics. Just got back from Trooper Thursday at The Westgate. Only one table of players, and yours truly was seated to Trooper's direct left.

The question everyone is wondering is probably 'How did the Trooper play?'. He lost one $200 buy-in fairly early, but bought in again and had recovered over half his losses when I left, I believe. Generally he was very tight, and probably played less than 10% of the hands. When he was in a hand he often made very big bets post-flop, likely for value although he never had many showdowns.

My own play was unfortunately disappointing. I started reasonable, but was back to starting stack when EP1 limps in for $3, and I make it $11 from the button with JJ. It's back to the limper, who makes it $73 (!). Limp-reraises always scares me, but I couldn't understand why he would make it so big if he indeed had AA ? In hindsight I should have just let it go, but the fact that this player had been caught bluffing two times early led me to believe he was likely fairly active, and I went all-in hoping to have decent fold-EQ or flipping against AK. He did however have Aces, and no help on the board for me.

(opponent obviously turned out to be very tight after, so I should probably have just folded until I had more information)

Apart from that not much exciting happened. Lost way too much on bomb pots ($10 every dealer change) without winning a single one, and generally things didn't go my way either in other hands. So a very disappointing result (- $466), that sends me down to break even for the day.

But that's ok, can't win every session and I'm looking forward to wake up rested tomorrow and play more. Will likely enter a tournament tomorrow, hopefully with a better result than the frustrating bubble for 'MuckPls'.

Me and S. just woke up, could say almost out of jet lag - it’s 5 in the morning so whatever close enough. Breakfast somewhere then gambling is the main plan.

I see ‘MuckPls’ $4k win, and raise it with... eh, $62 USD profit at Bellagio in a $1-$3 game this morning.

Pretty card dead game, only hand of note was 2 pair vs a shortstack top pair. Otherwise just trading water; winning a few very small ones and losing a few small.

Might join PH’s 10am tourney ($80 buy-in) in hopes of overlay on guarantee

Just don't tell them about multi-line, or Super Times Pay, or Ultimate X, or Dream Card...

Hopefully you had the players card in when you had these hits. If so, log into Total Rewards at your convenience and you'll probably find some comps. At the very least some Rewards Credits that you can spend in restaurants or your hotel bill.

Thx everyone! A day well spent today, went to do some more shopping, had a massage and a shave - all at Venetian. Then headed over to Mandalay Bay to check out the aquarium- it was decent but nothing I would say you can’t live without.
