Literally had Five Guys in Boise, Idaho two nights ago because it was across the street from my downtown hotel. Perhaps I'm a California homer, but I don't think Five Guys has any argument to usurp In N Out. I know that there will be plenty who argue that. But for the price of a single cheese animal style (~$4), there is no better value. In N Out "spread" is so, so perfect.

Also, Shake Shack, Freddy's Steakburgers and Steak N Shake all serve better burgers than Five Guys, IMO. Peanut oil really wrecks the experience. Hell, if you find a good one where the employees give half a ****, Carls Jr can even be better than Five Guys.

Pokerkraut showed the structure sheet in his latest vlog. Not amazing, but certainly fairly deep for a while given the low buy-in ($70 I believe).

I won a small tourney at Stratosphere in 2011, so have good memories from that room. Will consider checking it out.

Shake shack is definitely on the list, have heard only good things about it. Also really looking forward to go to Hash House A Go Go and possibly Eggslut if the line is decent. The list is very long, doubt I will have time for everything tho

If missiles fly, the canyon might be a pretty safe place to be, assuming an EMP doesn't disable your helicopter in mid-flight.

I didn't have much luck with photos from inside the helicopter, but I'm not much of a photographer. Make sure to reserve the front seat--it was an extra $50 when I went but well worth it for the much better viewing experience.

20 hours until we head to the airport. Will update on our way, given me make the connections and everything - #OneTime! Meanwhile Leroy also wants a ride, told him he would be an underdog and he can’t join this time. He was not impressed...

Clearly Leroy does not pupreciate being left out of the trip, even though he would most likely be a dog in the game.

At least he will probably enjoy the frequent pupdates

Do you have the ridiculous Emotional Support Animal thing in Europe? In the U.S. people can bring almost any animal that will fit on a plane and claim it's essential for their Emotional Support.

Obligatory shoe + bankroll pic. The roll wouldn't fit in the shoes (and no, it's not because I have small feet ), so just including a small portion of it.

Only a few hours to go now until we're on our way. I'm in the middle of standard late night panic packing, realizing I need to wake up in way too few hours.

But still, it's Vegas - gonna be f**king epic!

Now, time to start juggling with hours versus the jetlag mode. Strolling around in Heathrow (Even though for a short stop) quite brain-dead will be interesting.

Let's hope we get our boarding passes right, even find the damn terminal/gate & being let on the plane (Zombies don't really seem too welcomed there anyways).

Raising on O's post above, Leroy's overseeing my partial BR. He obviously thinks it's better to invest in Dogecoin instead of silly Vegas.

The humongous Maine Koon (Typo because of censorship) in the background, Penny, couldn't care less. Pretty sure this is because she has had to hear many of K's stories on beats etc. throughout the years.

Ja, don't let those fifties touch any of your other money and don't put them in your wallet so their juju gets on your hundreds. If you can't change them for other money before you come, keep them separated and change them as soon as you can.

Checked in to Harrahs a couple hours ago. Weird, tried the $20 trick it worked but she gave it back in the end. Not sure what happened. Either way, 24th floor in the renovated tower, it’s quite decent.

Had in-n-out burger, won enough at blackjack to pay for shopping and more and now time to crash. If all goes well then Venetian 12:00 tourney tomorrow.

After 26h awake & a ****load of **** happening, it's time to hit the hay at Harrah's (10pm local time).

To start with: Taking off approx. 40min after scheduled time (For no apparent reason) from our initial location made us run through Heathrow until everyone got chronic astma. Made it pass the gate literally last second tho.

Highly recommending Virgin Atlantic.

Luggage wasn't this lucky though. Awaiting FedEx delivery tomorrow, or in a couple of days.

McCarran touchdown = Airport bandits (-EV just by looking at them, but hey.)

Time to recharge & take down some tourneys/cash tomorrow, or die trying (Pit games always there in the background, waiting, haunting).

Random photos with some descriptions:

In-N-Out. Hard to beat.

Everything's bigger in the US. Way, way bigger.
