One last post from Vegas from me. Tomorrow at 'way too early' AM, me and Enhanced are beginning the long trek back to Norway (I will leave for Malta the day after).

I went back to the Venetian for an evening session, but was actually pretty tired and not feeling the game too much. So only played for 1.5 hours, cashing out +$48 USD without any interesting hands to report at all really.

Actually walked all the way back to MGM Signature. Along the way, the volcano show at Mirage showed up:

Played a bit of UX along with Enhanced at MGM, and although I didn't match his profit I hit one nice hand and cashed out a $186 USD winner.

Overall didn't run too terrible at VP, down $3-$400 at most if I have to guess.

I'm gonna go to bed and get a few hours of sleep, just a final poker results update:

Cash Games:

Hours played: 38h 45min
Won/lost: + $812.00 USD
Hourly rate: + $20.95 USD

Tournaments:

Won/lost: - $185.00 USD (5 played)

Will come back in a day or two with a summary of the trip, my impression of the poker results etc etc.

For now, I just want to say thanks to all that has been following along, and everyone who has commented. Although it's not super motivating to update the thread all the time, I still enjoy it - both because I know people appreciate it, and also because these threads brings back good memories for me when I read them later.

Still one more day for MuckPls and sicarriu5 (if he would ever post ), so I'm sure they will keep the thread somewhat alive for a bit longer.

/O

Today is the day of the lasts. Last mediocre room service for a small fortune:

Last strip & fountain view from the hotel room:

And soon the last cash session of the trip. Where else than Bellagio. Then the plan is to chill and maybe walk around one last time before an early checkout and a flight to SFO at 11am.

Can’t believe 2 weeks have gone by already. Although I have enjoyed it I think it as a bit of the too long side. I am at the stage where I just want to sleep in my own bed and see my kids and stuff like that.

Will post a final update likely tomorrow and will add loads of pictures when back in Europe and I have them downloaded from the camera.

As for J., he pretty much blasted the TR

Wait, are you about to leave or leaving tomorrow at 11am?

Whale seemed to indicate he left early today but you were here one day more?

BigWhale and his brother Enhanced arrived two days earlier and left this morning to Norway. Me and J. are leaving 11am tomorrow morning for Malta. The two other guys who did not post here are also leaving tomorrow, but will be driving to LA and will do a week long road trip.

I know everyone hates bad beat stories, but this is just getting absolutely mental. I’ve been grinding nonstop for 2 weeks vs total clueless idiots and this is the result. Sit down with $300, 5th hand get AA and get 4bet jammed on by JJ. Board runs out xxxx....J for another $600 pot lost.

I know variance and such, but two weeks of variance is just soooooo frustrating.

400 bucks on a dime machine is hardly small. It would be 4000 if playing dollars!

No chip porn but after a long and frustrating session we rack up and cash out $520 - $20 profit. Table was good, could’ve stayed a while but not in the best mental state to continue playing.

Finally some rungood, made it to Secret Pizza. No line:

Only bad beat is that I had pizza at Aria Five50 about half an hour ago. Anyway:

Shoutout to Slim from the Talon club at Cosmo - the Willy Wonka door.

Eh f*** it, we can rest when we are dead or broke or on the plane tomorrow. Back to my favorite place:

The table next to me is the Bellagio $10k highroller with David Peters and a couple of other crushers.

Thank you for the report. I’m not sure I follow wrapping it up at 7pm when your flight is 11am but I suppose after 2 weeks the urgency to play more isn’t there. The most I do is 4 nights and I am always looking to enjoy every minute that I can without playing exhausted.

Assume you are not flying for 20 hours or so tho right? And flying exhausted sucks, I’m not 20 anymore. So yeah rather travel rested than exhausted and miserable.

not sure when I’ll wrap up the session tho, a Spanish guy joined recently and he went from $100 to $900 in $15 minutes.

Table is the sickest one so far so might stick around for a bit. Just 5-bet jammed QQ and got a fold (unfortunately) for $200 profit preflop.

Also random fun story: Chinese old lady dealer just slapped me on my arm for folding out of turn. The entire table was roaring with laughter.

Unfortunately the fish who bought in for $100 and ran it up to $1000 cashed out. The table snap broke so decided to call it, $305 profit.

Back at the room and chilling and mentally preparing for the 20 hour trip tomorrow...

Quick summary of the trip, will write more once home and once I gathered my thoughts.

Cash game:

Played well most of the time and ran absolutely garbage. Probably ran the worst you can possibly run. Final result:

Broken down over rooms:

Tourneys:

Ran well in the Wynn $10k and ran poorly in the PH after making the FT. Although I had more tourneys scheduled I felt that it was just frustrating to play 10-12 hours and decided to just focus on cash game instead. Ran good in tourneys overall tho:

Overall score:

Could be better and could have been much worse. Would have been down a lot more if it wasn’t for the tourney chop.

Everything else:

Bought tons of clothes, presents for the family, we went to expensive restaurants and in general sticking your head out of the room costs at least $20. Vegas is super expensive so it hurts even more to be down in poker.

Gambling:

Held myself to the side bet, only played VP and probably broke even or something like that.

I also decided after last trip to rest and focus more, that one goal was achieved at least. No super tired days and no crazy long hours.

Anyway, that’s a wrap. Thanks for reading, hope you guys enjoyed it and will post a bunch of pictures when back in Malta.

Also, will be back for a short 6 day trip in September with my wife - probably no gambling but might do a TR with a bunch of restaurant and club pictures.
