Long time lurker making a Vegas “business trip” that happens to start on Super Bowl Sunday! I will be staying at Caesar’s Palace Sun-Wed and Wed-Sat at Aria. My flight arrives 1030 am local time Sunday morning. Questions regarding poker during the Super Bowl...Should I call as soon as my flight lands to get my name on a list...I’ve heard lists for 1/3 and 2/5 can get pretty deep on SB Sundays. Also, which rooms offer the best overall experience for poker/football watching? Any other suggestions regarding SB Sunday poker/gambling debauchery welcomed!!

no need to go anywhere else than caesars for the SB if your goal is to play poker and watch the SB. poker room directly next to the sportsbook.

I wasn't there last year, but the Mirage poker room typically has some incredible poker promos all day on SB Sunday. Plus, it's a nice room to play in. I think you need to be seated by 11 or 12 or so though if you want a spot...

Yup, one of the few rooms, if there are any others at all, where you will be able to hear the game while you play.

Never played there during the super Bowl, but OP might be in for some frustration. Being a CET hotel, Diamond and Seven Star members jump to the top of waiting lists.

The other downside is being next to the book as you’ll need to contend with the poor air quality from the smoke, but the room definitely extends itself to a great SB watching op

Every poker room I can think of here has televisions, viewable from multiple locations, that will be tuned to the game.

Just go with your preferred poker venue, game watching will be available.

Since you will be heading to Caesars anyway. See if they offer airport check-in ? Call ahead and get on a list or, if you have one, get your host to arrange for your seat if you bet sports.

To be honest. poker should be secondary for a couple of hours if you can get a seat/table reserved for a good sportsbar, inside or outside a casino.
