Hi Everyone:

We're making a change in our announcement relative to the Tesla Model S cars. Tesla will be there with the cars but now it will be test ride instead of test drive. There's a concern that since we're at a casino where alcohol is served that this will be a better way to go, and we at 2+2 agree. However, a test ride should be just as good as a test drive especially with an experienced driver who knows all the car's capabilities.

Hi Wyman

If you have never driven a Tesla Model S the car has tremendous acceleration and great stability around curves. Thus, it's my opinion that a new driver will tend to drive it too cautiously, while an experienced driver will not have this issue. Thus my "just as good" statement, and hope to see you at the party.

Here's a little more information on the Tesla test rides. This comes directly from the Tesla representative we've been working with:

We will simply have the cars there and have people join the rides as they wish. We can have 2 -3 people in a car at once and take turns. There is no sign up needed.

tesla rep probably saw that vid of hellmuth crashing into a light pole

smart move by them anyway, i don't even think they let potential customers test drive the cars? i live near the tesla dealership and i see them all the time, and it always looks like a sales guy is driving the customer(s) around.
